I have Toyota Pickup truck 1994... it has Check Engine Light on and I took the code and it says "EGR Valve." I can still drive it fine.. if I do nothing, can I continue to drive it in this condition and hope there's no permanent damage to engine or other systems?

It’s 100% those rollers I had the same thing with my Subaru EJ 25 and did the whole timing belt job I try to cut corners and use one sheet AutoZone bearing and within a week. It already busted for some reason Subarus only like Subaru parts you might be able to get away with a few different stuff aftermarket, but most of the time they throw fits.

That truck needs a lot of TLC. I'm not convinced it was worth 4 grand. Hopefully you've made more progress on it since the video.

I had a little 78 Toyota pick up with that drivetrain. Had a well tuned Webber carb, exhaust header, and nice exhaust. Thing ran like a top. Would cruise 80 down the freeway in 5th gear. Always liked the idea of one of these pop top chinook’s. Looked at one a few weeks ago. It was to far gone unfortunately. Rotten roof. Rotten floor. Trashed inside, plus rusty floors in the cab. To bad.

Put in a 5L diesel engine and you're good to go. That's literally a Hilux from where I am from.

Why can't you keep the camera steady and stop jerking it around? I got motion sickness watching this patheti video that could have been very good if the dam camera was held stead and a little thought used instead of endless impetious actions. The RTE is a hard motor to find there's a guy in Georgetown California who claims hes got a few of them and he rebuilds them We've got a 1987 forerunner turbo the only thing I don't understand is why they didn't put an intercourse on the 4 runners they had him on the pickup trucks but not the 4 runners I don't understand that you couldn't add it in your color I suppose but it would be nice to have factory now I went with a garret turbo myself $1800 it's got about 380 miles on it maybe Went through the air conditioning system myself everything new except the 2 hardlines 1 from the heat exchange into the core and the one that runs across the ethics change everything else brand new blows cold 40° nice R12
