Great review and nice job cleaning it up. The biggest take-away for me was when you were recording and moving the mic on the speaker. I don't record and was surprised at how a minor adjustment in mic position made a huge difference in tone! Thanks for that accidental lesson!! Beyond that, the owner's manual is available on Peavey's website. Looking at it, the EQ section on the Normal Gain (clean) channel is a passive EQ (flat is 2-10-4 (low, mid, high)) while the EQ section on the Lead Gain channel is active (flat is with controls at Noon) and the Shift button changes the center frequency of the Body (aka Midrange) control.

Not active pick ups. The EQ requires the battery.

hmh, ive been fuckng around tryna get mammoth to launch in reaper, tried all the basic re-scan and re instal and make sure its in the right place but it just wont get found in reaper, got any tips? did u have any problems installing it?
