Does this affect your insurance?

When you fitted the hand guards did you use the same bar ends? If not and if you are now using less weighted ones then that might give more vibes.

wow, I also ride without the windshield at summer. Its a great "free" mod and also eliminate the helmet noise. I just think that maybe handlebar vibration is coused by front "off road" tire... would be interesting test with street tire.

I see this "USA style turn signals always on" trend on all new honda bikes... But how is that alowed in europe where most drivers are not used to orange running lights - and at a quick glance might confuse them as indicators!? I consider this dangerous, cause somebody could think that you are turning and just pull in front of you!

rented one of these bad boys in Thailand and did 1000 km's in the mountains, would make an excellent every dayer, but do you not found it a little underpowered the hillies?

Yeah nah. There's better solutions. This looks awful and will feel awful. I'd be adding some rubber or some kind of enveloping cover, but not this.

I took this bike last month new from a Honda dealer. I went to check out the new NX500 but finally I left with this one. No comparison, this CB500X is way sexier than than the NX, which is so ugly.

What crash bars are those?

Most enjoyable. Great music. Gorgeous country (bit like the Karri forest over here on the other side of the continent). Awesome motorbike. Mine is a 2021 model (Capri Red) on which I've ridden 25,000 km. Love it so much I ride it as much as I drive my car. Previously owned a 2015 model (black with yellow stripe) on which I rode almost 30,000 km.

Depends if you do mostly off pavement riding vs touring. The T7 is apparently pretty uncomfortable for long highway trips. My next bike will likely be the V-Strom 800DE or a Transalp XL750 (rear shock upgrade required) as I love to visit distant off pavement areas. Last summer was Grand Teton National Park, thousands of kms from Vancouver, CA...

I need to get that maintenance done on my CB500X too, thanks for the reminder!

I have the same bike with the standard exhaust. I think I will change it too.

I think I'll leave it to my mechanic. 🤣 Basic maintenance used to be so easy. Even getting that seat back on is tricky. I remember being able to remove, clean and replace the air filter on my 1972 Suzuki Hustler with my eyes closed. However, the riding and ownership experience of my Hustler didn't come within a bull's roar of that of my beautiful 2021 Honda CB 500X - the Swiss Army Knife of motorcycles! 🦘
