We were told by our well driller, this is the same aquifer the Ozarka distribution plant draws from which is in East Tx. We agree, the water does taste good. The only thing we are in the process of installing is a whole house filtration to remove the sulfur smell which we will show and discuss in the next upload. Peace

Hi Cathy, yes, I have considered using my plasma and may still give it a shot with more wall cutouts to come. I hate the cutoff wheels. Not only is the process slower, but at times the wheels explode and can be dangerous.

Hi Jacob, Noted. I am the first to agree with you. My recording and editing skills are very limited and have called in the big guns (Daughters). Working to fix the issue for now on. No music while speaking and the volume will be turned up! Peace

I agree. My daughters have been called upon to help us with recordings and editing since my skills are limited, which I will work on. I use a 10th generation I Pad, which has the mic location where it is easy to cover while holding. I did purchase a personal mic to attach to my shirt, which will hopefully help the sound. Juggling the project and the recordings has proven to be a challenge for sure. I appreciate the advice. Peace

Hey Steven, ICF homes are definitely solid built which I have seen here in Texas. I did investigate the ICF method, but we felt the cost would be over budget and the work load would be too much to handle alone for the two of us, which is why we ended up with shipping containers. I guess it's a mute point now that the new 602 V3 are now in stock. The V3 now Qualifies for the Tax Credit and IS Approved for a Type 1 hearth pad. They fixed all the lackings of the old model and released this little gem. Jotul will do great with this new model. Sorry for the delay, busy time of year. Peace

@@offgridstovesandmoreoftexa2731 But the V3 has a cat, just one more thing to go wrong. I got my V2 installed this week, the dealer offered me both and I chose the V2. Much cheaper, and proven design. The V3 is just to appease the nanny state government.

@@onyourbikes Awesome. Finding a V2 was a score since they have been out of stock for sometime now. Great small wood burner for sure. The only thing I would say about the big difference of the two models is that the V3 has the Tax Credit up to two thousand dollars which offsets the price difference significantly. The new emission ratings is huge to those who want to do their part in keeping down the pollutants. The 2k credit is a huge savings for sure. Peace

@@offgridstovesandmoreoftexa2731 I'm not in the USA so the tax thing didn't matter. My dealer bought about 100 of the older V2 from Jotul, and he was selling them off for only $1400 cad which is half the price of the V3 so it's a no brainer.

It’s my understanding that they are upgrading it with a cat to squeak out a little more efficiency and make the tax credit. I don’t know when it be released but I did see a picture of one with a cat in it.

Hello and thanks for the video. I have removed the Allen head set screw and the motor still won’t release from the shaft. Do you have any tricks for this situation? I was thinking of lubricant and prying. It’s on a Whitfield and at an angle so there isn’t much room for a small ball peen. Thanks.

Hi Elaine, The time I record is usually when I am in the shop working on the plasma table and will remember someone who I recently helped and put the issue we addressed on video. Unfortunately It takes three times as long to take the stove apart and reassemble for a video. I am getting ready to put another stove on the table and will try to show the disassembly and reassemble of parts. Most of the times I record is during the busy season when we are manufacturing parts, selling stoves and installing them throughout Texas and multi tasking keeps me moving as quick as possible. Hey Ranger, not really. It is whatever suits your needs. The only thing we recommend is to let your stove burn on High a few times a week atleast 15mins in order to burn off new creosote and blast the fly ash out of the system. If we can help further, let us know. Peace
