rad! one life, make the most out of it and one heck of an adventure. Looking forward to seeing ya'll's growth!
Hey, thanks for the review, i don't think you have mentionned it, is the backpack waterproof ? Thanks
@@oueoue424 No, not waterproof
Thank you. None of their product picks showed the inside of the main compartment
Exactly! Isn’t that weird? I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed that.
Thank you for the review
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
HOW IS IT AS A TRAVEL BAG.
Good question! I never used it on a multi-day trip so I can't personally say with certainty. But the Gold BJJ Backpack is 34L, slightly smaller than the Kingz Tactical Backpack 38L that I have used on a few multi-day trips. You can watch that review here: ruclips.net/video/-FEvR02hiqA/видео.html
@@SubbedInStyle Thank You Ever SO Much God Bless You
I always take an iron to my stripes (when I get new ones) which secures them very well. I haven't lost a stripe to the washer after ironing it.
I do the same, I use a layer of parchment paper between the iron and the tape so the sticky residue from the tape doesn’t get stuck to the iron. But since I started using the iron, stripes are stuck like glue
You’re awesome!!
❤️ Thank you!
Sanabul has that vintage look belt. I bought one cause it really look old rendering justice to the many years I spent in this art.
That’s awesome. That’s why we named our channel Subbed In Style…if we’re getting subbed, we might as well look good doing it!
Spencer Mumme is great. happy yall are exploring austin ❤
We took a lot of private lessons from him, he has a great way of explaining moves and exploring different situations
When you get a new stripe, put a couple dots of super glue on it. Put your rolled up belt inside your gi before placing it in the washer. This minimizes any stripe loss/tangling and now you will have a clean belt. My belt is definitely more soaked in sweat than other parts of my gi after practice. Plus people be using it for grips. I've heard people say "but it doesn't smell".. then halfway through practice when it's moistened up again their belt and their dingy grey stripes clearly stank.
As soon as I get a new stripe, I use an iron to slightly heat up the tape. But I learned to use a layer of parchment paper between the iron and belt so the sticky tape residue doesn’t melt onto the iron. Recently, I (Stephanie) started using garment bags to wash my belt, which keeps it from getting wrapped around everything. But admittedly, I still don’t wash it after every class. I maybe wash it once or twice a week… better than zero?! 🤣
When I grab a belt grip on someone and it’s like grabbing floss lol
🤣🤣
Love your commitment.
Haha thanks!
Great review!
Thank you!!
You guys are LEGENDS. I will miss you both, thanks for the awesome training.
Thank you for the fun rounds and willingness to teach! We’ll miss you too
Awesome!! Lets go!
Welcome!! Glad yall are here, excited to train with you!!!
Thanks!
Even if you lost it, it would of been worth it. White belt competitions are all about getting the experience, and to get it done.
@@KenlieroGames I’ve lost my fair share of matches since that first one 🤣 Maybe I got lucky in that first one 🤷🏼♀️ Or maybe I trained ultra hard before that first one and after winning I didn’t have the same drive. Not sure. But I’m ready for more in 2025!
Well done!! You were actually super chill for a first tournament!
@@JohnLynch0 Thank you! I don’t think it showed in the video but there was a point right before the match I went to tape my fingers and my hands were shaking so bad. I was so nervous but I was able to shake it off pretty quick and get weighed in
@ happens to everyone. I’ve known guys with ten tournaments under their belt who throw up before their first match of the day. It’s that push through that makes you a warrior.
I loved training with you when you went to the Grounds. I'm only 10 and I love this sport, I'm almost a yellow white.
Great review!!
Thank you! I've been wanting to do more reviews of different bags I've been using but I'm nervous to record 🤣
Thankyou. Very cool and simple technique.
Fastest tutorial ever 🤙🏼
Congratulations on your win, you did a great job of describing that first competition experience.
@@samstinton3010 Thank you!! ☺️
the armbar system videos are🔥 Greetings from Germany
I find the hip straps are useful for competition, agree with everything else, gonna get the bag
After moving on to try out other bags, I miss this bag!! I would go back and buy it again 💯

This is very helpful and interesting - especially for beginners. 👍
Thank you for leaving that comment 🥰 I told myself it would be worth making the video even if only one person finds it helpful!!!
This was a great review! Definitely gotta find some extra cash to get this.
Definitely a great bag! I’m testing out a different bag right now and still think about going back to this bag 🤫
Thank you for this review. I am looking to get a new bag for training and this popped up in Amazon.
Yay! I’m glad the video helped you make a decision 🥰
that bag looks awesome..
Have this one and i love it but the zippers are crappy as hell. :/
That’s a bummer to hear. I didn’t keep the bag long enough to test long term, it was too big for me so I gave it to a friend but he still uses it to this day
Do you think I could fit a 13 inch macbook + a keyboard in the "laptop area"?
I’m excited for this channel. Hope you guys keep making videos!
Thanks! There will be more soon!
Trying to decide between this one, the rogue or the dry tech 😅
I haven’t used the other two you mentioned but I hope this video can help you make a decision!
I like this channel already.
very good video!
Thank you!
Donde la puedo comprar ?
Tatami has it on their website for a good price us.tatamifightwear.com/products/tatami-omega-back-pack?variant=5792151273515¤cy=USD&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_5bDsuGdgQMV_RStBh3XAAY2EAQYASABEgIjn_D_BwE
great review, do you think the laptop area would fit a 16 inch laptop as i want a bag for university
Thanks! Good question. I tested it out by putting my 16” MacBook in the front pocket and it fit no problem…but it’s definitely not meant for a laptop so there’s space for it to move around a bit and there’s no padding so if you put your laptop in there be careful or what sits on top of it or flinging the bag around.
