Hi, I love all of these comics :) I am just wondering would you be able to sell any of them to me? Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed! The great thing about most of the comics I show is that they are all pretty easy to find and are never very expensive. I'm sure there are a lot of sellers on Ebay that would have most of these comics for pretty cheap, especially if you find one that can combine shipping. I don't sell any comics, but I'll look and see if I have any in my doubles box and I will give those to you. Thanks for the comment!!!
I only have a FF vs. X-Men 1 in my doubles. If you want it, let me know some other titles, characters, runs you're interested in and if I can get 5 or 6 comics that you'd like, I'll mail them off. Have a good one!
Great Comic Book room. Thanks for the tour.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the comment!!!
Wow I had one like that same color Nissan alloy wheels on mine👏🏽👏🏽👍🏾
Nice! That's one of the few things that I'd still like to get for mine. That and a turbo! Thanks for the comment!!!
So glad you did these videos!! I’ve been basing my recent pickups on your excellent reviews!! Acetates are great
Thanks for the support! I hope you enjoy some good comics. Acetates ARE great, but I'm glad they don't put them on EVERY comic! Thanks again!!!
All cool but of course I’m into the surfer 75 ( because it’s a 90s gimmick). !! Along with 50 and 100 they are some the coolest ever not just cover but also story
I agree! I think SS 100 is going to make it to Comic Bowl II. They are so good! Thanks for the comment!!!
Mine on the left side as if your faced in front of machine under batman says 1990 DC Comics Inc. And play field says 1991. Does yours say the same? Thanks
1990 on both sides. Where on the play field?
@@thecomicsamurai on the side arm says 1990 under batman and on play field above left flipper says 1991 DC comics inc. Just want to see if they all match up like that or do I have a first print or something like that. Thanks
Art
@@rubenflorez2395 Wow. I've looked at that play field a lot and have cleaned it twice and never noticed that bit of text before. Mine is the same as yours, 1991. Very cool! Thanks!!!
@@thecomicsamurai your welcome. Get original topper and it'll look legit. Batman signal topper
I LOVE IT - i have an ugly one 1990
Amazing spider man 129, hulk 181, daredevil 158, amazing fantasy 15😂❤
While all of those are iconic, classic covers, are they your favorites? Don't get me wrong, I love them all, but they just seem so terribly dated when I look at them (except DD 158). Expecially Hulk 181. Wolverine's first costume with the whiskers and the thick claws is not my favorite version of the character. And have you read them? Again, classic, but hokey as all get out. In my opionion. Thanks for the comment!!!
@@thecomicsamurai it's the amazing style of the era. Of course there's now fine artist representations out there now that can capture and reproduce. But an original image is an original ❤
@@rickytoddbotelho9555I can't argue with that! Thanks again!!!
I always thought daredevil was the dumbest character in the marvel pantheon until I read 158. The Gil Kane influence shown through. And I became the biggest Frank Miller fan ever.😂❤
I totally agree! I remember feeling sorry for him. A blind superhero. I just felt bad for him, especially in his yellow costume. Then I got ahold of 158... Mind. Blown. Thanks for the comment!!!
@@thecomicsamurai me too. I was kid reading heavy metal, fantastic four, avengers, batman, spider man, X-Men, warlock trying to keep up. Then my lcbs owner put this book on the wall. I liked Gil Kane's stuff, Frank's resembled it. After I looked through it. I was changed.❤️
Never got these in australia. We had the holden rodeo Holden fortuna Holden jackaroo
They're fun, but getting harder to find over here. I haven't seen another on the road for almost a year! Thanks for the comment!!!
Love the enthusiasm!
It's easy to get excited about great comics! Thanks for the comment!!!
Comic samurai is THE MAN💪💪💪
Thanks for the comment! Johnnyr859 is right on time! Rock and roll! Thanks for the comment!!!
Man those foils are fantastic!! And the popups are by far the funnest gimmick!!
I'm not a big fan of "old" villains either(never liked Vulture), but I think it works great when it's a sorcerer/wizard character because they dont need much physicality. It makes sense that the older they are the more powerful they could be.
I agree! GREAT observation, I couldn't have said it better. Thanks again for the comments!!!
I've never read the authority but I've really been meaning to. It looks like a great book
I really liked it. A few issues suffer from switching creative teams, but they recover quickly. It's a fun read IMO. Thanks for the comment!!!
Yup me to. Buy only comics that i like and not inside a sealed case
Yes! I've actually removed a few comics from their cases and it was such a good feeling! I kept the paperwork with them, but there's nothing like reading a comic and enjoying it with all your senses IMO. I'm one of the few who would pay MORE for an ungraded copy that I can verify the condition of. Thanks for the comment!!!
Hello. I have a 94 Amigo and I’m having trouble finding a soft top for it. Any recommendations on where I might find one?
I'm sorry, I haven't had to look for one as mine was in decent shape when I bought it (2006). I suggest eBay or a Facebook group. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
@@thecomicsamurai thank you for your response. Your Amigo looks great! I’m trying to restore mine.
@@ClintonLewis-v8s No worries. I did fin this one www.etrailer.com/Jeep-Tops/Isuzu/Amigo/1994/PE5113901.html?VehicleID=1994971892 Pretty expensive, but what do I know. Good luck on the restoration, they're a ton of fun!!!
Heck yeah finally a thorough haul of what I consider the coolest comics ( 90s gimmicks)!!! Can’t wait to see all the parts to this series!!
Nice to see there are other fans of gimmick comics! They are some of my favorites, each one brings back a ton of memories. Thanks for the comment, hope you enjoy!!!
Awesome collection. After 17 years of collecting comics and three short boxes of comics, I finally got my grail book TMNT#1 and I am calling it quits cause everything has to have an end, however I wouldn't mind having an X-Men#1 1963 and a page from Batman#1 1940 but those cost a fortune so I am done collecting,it has been fun hunting down all those books over the years but this is the end of collecting comics for me.
This is the most interesting comment I have ever received! I also have an end in sight. I RARELY add any comics to my want list, and when it's done, that will be the end of purchasing for me as well. I am the type of collector that needs an end goal. It's encouraging to finally meet a collector who has met theirs. Enjoy!!! Thanks for the comment and let me know if you ever get those grails!!!
@@thecomicsamurai well turns out when I brought the book off whatnot the guy over charged me for the book so I did dispute against him and when I get my money back I am done with whatnot and I will just try to find a copy of TMNT#1 on eBay and call it quits or if I can't then I am calling it quits now cause this book has been nothing but a headache.
@@jarredsmith9187 Oh man, I hate to hear that. Sorry. When a deal falls through and you sour on a comic, it can be hard to find the passion for it again. Have patience. It wasn't the one for you. You'll find a better copy that will bring you a lot more joy. You'll find a better one. Thanks for comment and PLEASE keep me updated. This is the kind of stuff that I love about the hobby! Have a great night!!!
Love your comic book room! Fantastic collection! Temple of Doom is by far my favorite! I have definitely watched it the most. Have a great evening!
Thank you! Remember to cover your heart and take the LEFT tunnel. After all, we do it for the fortune and glory!!!
Oh Man, I had that X-men poster too when I was young and forgot all about it until now. Thanks!
I also had a mostly black Wolverine poster done by Art Adams. I've seen some reproductions, but I wish I still had my original. Thanks for the comment!!!
Good man love the set up looks good 😮😮
Much appreciated, thank you!!!
Excellent video! I can imagine you doing a 360 in your room and picking a comic off the wall and opening up and checking it out. Love it!!!
Thank you! What a great idea for a tag video! These are a lot of fun, thank you for opening this up to ALL collectors!!!
My first comic was….wait for it. Hulk 181! I traded a starter pistol for 2 hulk 180 and 2 copies of 181. My mom often read my books as I collected and she dropped a 181 in the bathtub (of all places) ruined it 😅 I eventually graded them. 180 was a 2.5 and I had a matching set of 189,181 in 4.5 . And yes,she was forgiven immediately. Love you mom lol 😂
Oops,matching set of 180,181 in4.5 😮
What a GREAT story! Thanks for sharing! What an amazing origin story you have. Everyone's first comic is memorable, but yours way more than most. Thanks again for the comment!!!
10:10 I use the reverse of cereal boxes (cut them) to make my own separators, and fold a tab on the separators for a label, so if a box I know is just for Batman comics, I can add those separators to show for instance "New 52", "Rebirth", etc. I also like to display here and there some of my favorite comics or covers, and rotate them eventually. If I may suggest something, with all due respect, maybe a little bit more of blue light (not straight to comics, but to the ceiling) would enhance the view of the room, in case you don't have a window. Thanks.
Nice! GREAT idea with the cereal boxes! I've thought about adding some LED lights to the room. I'm doing some tests in my son's room with them. Technology is crazy! I'm old school and it's still hard for me to believe I built a sort of "studio" in my basement. Too fun! Thanks for the comment!!!
What a voice. Do you use your voice for a living. It's helped me enjoy your video even more.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the comment!!!
Great broadcasting voice lol! I like your show and just subscribed ❤!!
@@TheMusicforeal This is probably my favorite comment I have ever received. It was perfectly timed and hit me just right. Thank you, you made my night!
Am I the only one that hears Jack Nicholson narrating this whole thing?

@@thecomicsamurai awesome man no problem!!
I also enjoy those awesome 90 gimmick comics! The holo's are my favorite!

@@jEdi_bUddhA_YOGi You're one cool cat. Thanks.
Awesome tour, thanks for sharing. Good to see your Northmen proudly displayed! I also have a Sin City toetag, I think it came in a pile of swag I won many years ago in a local library contest. I also won a bag of Dark Horse coffee!
Glad you enjoyed! Have you tried the coffee? Probably tastes grim and gritty. Too fun, thanks for the comment!!!
I love your John Elway cards. Greatest Quarterback of all time! My first comic was Spectacular Spider-Man 66 versus Electro from 1982. I got it with my Easter basket and I think I was 10yrs old. I will collect comics that are 2.0 if they are silver age. They have to present well though. I’m not rich so to me… having a book is better than not having a book.
Rock and roll! I was wondering if anyone would notice the Elway cards! What a great time it was to be a Denver fan with him at the helm. He was a stand-up guy. Spectacular Spidey 66 is so nontraditional for a cover! What a great introduction to the hobby! I'm not rich either, but for me, I'd rather have a presentable reprint than a 2.0 original (most times, there are exceptions). To each their own though, collect how YOU want! Thanks for the EXCELLENT comment!!!
Cool video and room! If you have a second take a look at my last Room Tour video. May get some comic collections ideas.
Thanks! I watched your two room tour videos, very cool! Nice to know there's another collector who likes their comics very fine or better. Those A-bomb photos are great! Looks like we have similar interests. Too fun, thanks for the great comment!!!
@@thecomicsamurai thanks so much for watching! I subbed ya!
Star Wars 78 was one of my first. Ironman 94 was another and X-men 196.
Nice! Star Wars 78 had a dramatic Bob Layton (very underrated) cover, I think. Tough black cover too. What a great way to start in the hobby! Iron Man 94 has a Kirby and Milgrom cover that I actually dig. X-Men 196 came out of a run that I didn't care much for as a kid, but it's growing on me. Maybe it's time to revisit those JR jr. issues. Thanks for the GREAT comment!!!
@@thecomicsamurai My friends brother was away to college and when I slept over we snuck in his room and read all of his comics when we were kids. He had lots of Caps, Ironman and X books. X-men 196 was my first introduction to Wolverine.

Great video comic samurai. I appreciate the enthusiasm and the display. I have a lot of the books displayed on the wall. I am stuck in between placing some of mine in slabs, or cleaning and pressing or put up for displaying as you do in your videos. NICE
I encourage you to do with your comics what you want. Enjoy them, whatever that looks like. What a fun hobby! Thanks for the comment!!!

Where’d you get all those racks for your shelving? That’s awesome! Did you raid an old video store went out of business long ago?
I got all the shelving at Lowe's. Pretty inexpensive and easy to install. A lot of the shelving is just L-brace. I go more in depth and show how I tilt them back against the wall and secure them with fishing line in my other room tour videos. Thanks for the comment!!!
Killer comic book room that you got. 😀👍

Raiders of the Lost Ark is a better movie but I like Temple of Doom the most 🤙
I couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks for the comment!!!
Comic samurai hell yeah!!! ❤❤❤❤
Hell yeah!!!
Sadly I couldn't read that last issue of Promethea due to the colors used making it a struggle for my poor eyes to read, though based on the previous issues it would have been a great read. The Hulk/Thing arm wrestle story was great. My hidden gem would be the last issue of DC Comics Presents, by Steve Gerber, which was one of the last pre-Crisis Superman stories, which got completely overshadowed by Alan Moore's Whatever Happened To The Man of Tomorrow? It was an amazing swansong with the Phantom Zone, Mxyzptlk, Bizarre, and the corpses of Argo City raining down on Metropolis. Well worth tracking down
I hear you about the colors in the Promethea issue. It was pretty trippy and dirorienting. It think that may have been the point. Yes! DC Comics Presents 97 is going to be featured in a future video! Good call! Let me know if you have any other recommendations. What a great comment, thank you!!!

Uncanny X-Men #141 for me.
@@keithjackson1360 Excellent choice! That was my all-time favorite for years! Truly a classic. Thanks for the comment!!!
I always liked the way Hawk and Dove transformation worked, with their costume appearing from left to right. A halfsy-halfsy cover that captured one of them mid-transformation would be perfect, but I don't remember any like that with those characters. Anyone knows of one?
Interesting! I'll have to keep my eye out for a good example. Let me know if you find any. Thanks for the comment!!!
