Does this work with L5D?

Hey Tom, do the LZ0's have an issue with burning oil? There are conflicting stories on this but i am curious of your thoughts as i look at buying a new truck in the next year. Also hear that the 3.0 uses a lot of def when under a load/towing. Is this true and are there remedies if so? I don't know much about diesels and am just starting to research before i buy. Looking at the Chevy 1500 high country 3.0 Great vid

Installed mine last week while broke down due to bad fuel pump control module. 2018 3500 DRW Full Bed. Plenty of room to easily do this install. Thank you to Brady at VSE for adjusting and upgrading my shipping. Saved me big time! I noticed an increase in throttle sensitivity. 500 miles in and it sure is nice knowing the VSE Fuel System Saver is onboard. Dear Santa, more VSE Parts please. Cheers

This is an awesome innovation! I may need to give GM some additional time to work out the bugs of this engine. The first generation had the timing chains in the rear of the engine and the second is blowing oil into the intercooler. They just need more time to work on a solution to the issues. I'm sure it's an awesome engine..

Should have checked the comments before watching. Makes a ton of sense but yeah if it voids a warranty the seem better to endure a covered issue then assume the risk of a probable fix. Anywho good video at least I’m better informed than before.

How quickly will yall know if this will fit on the 2025 suburban? Not sure if they would shift any placement. Planning to order one once available or a gmc but no dif there.

What I find most amazing about videos like this being a gearhed all my life, the aftermarket can can make a simpler more reliable and robust part than the manufacturer, yet if you install this they will likely use it as an excuse to void your warranty…. This makes no sense to me and never has…. The aftermarket steps up with better solutions yet again

I have 55k mile in mine and it’s an amazing engine. I’ve averaged as high as 42 mpg and 20 mpg while towing. It sips fuel, has tons of torque, and has been very reliable.

I have a bone stock ‘24 duramax that has the worst turbo lag I’ve ever experienced and has compressor surge so bad it shakes the whole truck when it happens. It feels like it has way less power than the 2020 L5P I had. Have you heard anything similar about the ‘24’s?

Are the LM2 duramax just being tuned to have the power increase the LZ0 got in 2023

We block off EGR, turbo port yet leave the ccv gases back into the intake which are hot as the engine gets. Maybe route ccv to atmosphere as a gas engine? Unless this caters too the emission compliance group. Makes sense then

This will void the warranty. I saw a video where they said that a guy’s off roading tires voided the warranty.

It would be helpful for the DIY guy like myself IF you included how to release the possible connectors that I might have!!! I had to Google it and search RUclips for hours. I finally got the fuel lines figured out but the connector on top of the fuel housing that goes to the water sensor is pretty much impossible to remove. Maybe some helpful hint next time??? And don't show that 1/4 second trick with your hands in the way. A little help Please, I just dropped $500 and wasted all afternoon to only have to put the old system back together.

What are some signs that my factory ccv is failing?

Why is this only for the 2024? Pre 2024 has a different system, i assume? Just curious. I have a 2018

The design is nice, but I feel like there could have been a more economical way to build this rather than complete billet assembly.

Are these tunes emissions equipped?
