3:43 the goblins weren’t the ones who made it blighted, you can find various notes of strange riders, and in the cellar you can find notes from the Thayyan aswell, the goblins simply found the blighted village

I didn’t known the Owlbear cave had it own campsite. My favorite in the game was the upper floor of Elfsong Tavern ‘campsite’.

Something I feel like I have to add because I never see anyone talk about it is that some of the campsites had loot in the various boxes scattered around! My personal favorite was the moonrise one bc it always gave me potions for free but for a lot of them if you search around, you can usually find stuff like alcohol to long rest with. It's a really cool detail that I've literally never seen anyone mention.

I searched for "best camp site" for a reason. Where is the most suitable for "camp casting". hmmm...

My favorite is the Shadow cursed Camp site! On the outskirts where the mirror is, there's an abandoned hut next to a waterfall, and it's such a beautiful little spot. I took some time to decorate it and play house in it with my girlfriend Karlach 💗

I must be doing something wrong. Facing the paladins of Tyr. I cast darkness. The paladins accept that challenge without issue. They march right in and continue to curb stomp my party. The main paladin took 2 members with 1 shot a piece in the 2nd round, alone. The Spider Matriarch didn't enter the darkness. She didn't need to. Her minions teleported to the edge of the spell, entered, then ended the party. Eldritch blast... I have no idea if it's good or not. I have entire fights where my Warlock was a paperweight. 100% misses with Eldritch blast for the 1st couple of levels. No joke. I had to switch to melee if I wanted him to contribute to fights. Basically, it's a three member party at this point. 😊

I just also want to say that the Mountain Pass/Rosymorn Monastery/Creche Y'llek was the part of the game I liked the most. The incredible scenery, the story progression, the light atmosphere and the great items you get here make this part so enjoyable. It really contrasts starkly with the dark mood of the underdark/Act 2 and is more stunning than Act 1. My only problem with it is that it's too small.

The underdark one is for sure the best, the mushrooms, the colors 👌

At 7:07 you can just use a regular Antidote too. I'm sure we all have those or the ability to quickly craft one

I have actuallu never experienced the Act 3 Dockside camp because I always talk to the Tavern Keeper about the spare room. I only know it exists from seeing other people's Act 3 footage. I also was unaware of the Gauntlet of Shar camp, so that's fun to know about for my next playthrough.

Maybe I got lucky with my harpy fight but I remember having 0 problems with it (I’ve only done it once and was on normal so that definitely helped) but I dread the grymforge metal giant fight. I swear it was bugged for me every time I did it cuz the lava and hammer would only work at random times it seemed.

The Death Shepherds on the mountain pass are the worst fight in the game

For the worst fight in the game its when you let Balthazar take Nightsong and end up fighting him in his house of horrors.

3:21 (Nr13) was the end of my first honor run. the room is pretty tiny and gale's necrotic aura fills a good portion of the space. lost my boy scratch, after retreating to the camp. absolutely unplayable afterwards. lessons were learned but my heart broken

I always gank Balthazar in his room before heading down to Nightsong after finding out how annoying he is in the first run. Black Hole bulb them all into a pile, water, Call Lightning on the whole pile of them. Hate this guy

My first play through I never picked up Lae’zel, never went to the Mountain Pass, and generally managed to avoid almost all Gith encounters. Turns out, if you don’t kill the Gith bosses (like the inquisitor in the Crèche) they appear in the Emperor’s hideout under the Elfsong in Act 3. Mfs rocked my shit the first time I fought them.

I always do the harpy fight at a later part in the game at level 4 or 5 when the kid is still alive.

In all my playthroughs i never learned until now that there is a Balthazar fight in the shadowfell because he never survived the 1st time we met. :D The harpyie battle is really annoying though.

Honestly. I find any encounter with scrying eyes to be more annoying than anything. Honorable mention to the marcus fight though. Where rng can get all of last light killed, prematurely ending multiple quest lines. Yes larian, because i would totally sit there and watch as marcus slowly picks up isobel and walks away to fly off with her. 🙄

3:15 no, it's not patched out. The Flaming Fist will attack you when you touch anything red inside the building (for example, loot a body), be seen killing someone on the lower floor, or somehow see you being on the uppermost floor where you don't belong.

From the bottom of my heart, fuck the Shar Temple fight. It is atrocious if you try to do it legit instead of funneling all of them into a hallway.

my pick is one some people may never have seen, the big grease fight in the undercity of act 3. It's all difficult terrain, everything lights on fire if any fire damage is used, there's like 30 mud mephits, too many greaseballs, and two whole grease elementals. Like it's not particularly difficult, it's just so annoying because you barely get a turn and the mephits don't really group up enough for an AOE attack

The artist quest in act 3. I did it once and will never do it again.

I just began act 3 and the gith monk fight was the first time I felt _so_ angry at the game. Not even Myrkul gave me this much trouble. The Emperor DID NOT HELP AT ALL either, just flying around inflicting status conditions that would be removed right away in the same turn. I got so peeved, I reloaded a save right before the fight, changed my Tav's class to monk just so I could punch them back 😂😂

Huh, was absolutely not expect the harpy fight to be number 1. That said I've never fought them at anything less than level 3 and usually it's level 4. And one time I did just straight lose that fight and had to reload. Number 1 annoying fight for me is the ghost art house. All the annoyances of the 3 levels with the added pain of invisible/disguised enemies and none of the fun the fireworks shop has with explosive barrels, multiple points of entry (I like flying in from the mummy lord's house roof), and the ability to push enemies out of windows. The Cazador fight is very annoying if you don't understand the special mechanics of it. Somehow I've never once had trouble fighting the Gith royal bodyguards. The meenlocks fight, or really anything that takes away control from your characters, is very annoying. ...Now I see why you listed the harpy fight as number 1.

Honestly i hated the big fight in moonrise so much after my first 2 runs that i just made a habit of killing all of moonrise before going into the shadowfell
