Unity 3D Pixel Art Shaders (Depth and Normal Based Outlines + Lighting
its been a while since i last visited this project, originally inspired by t3ssel8r 3D Pixel Art project i decided to try the aesthetic out tho it was rather hard for me to replicate it with limited knowledge in shader language, after a while here is the final build running on unity 2022 on the Built in render pipeline
I added support for Stencil Lights via layering and am Currently working on ways to Implement God rays lighting

Hey Man, awesome video. SInce I saw you recently answered a fairly new comment, I wanted to ask something as well. During the pixelation section when I build the canvas and all I get the error Display 1 No cameras rendering, when I have one anyways? The screen isn't black either, just transparrent. Incase it might help, I am on version 6000.0.25f1. Thank you and have a good day.
Ik this video is old but the camera clip feature i believe is a depth error the ps1 suffered from which caused some objects to clip partially in camera view. its a good thing to toggle if you want the extra authenticity

How I got the URP-PSX to work, (information may be incorrect or inefficient, first ever project) - Installation of URP & PSX: Step 1. Ensure using Unity version 2020.3.42f1 Step 2. Backup existing project Step 3. Convert renderer to URP *note 1 Step 4. Download the PSX files and drop "URP-PSX" folder into: Assets or child folder of assets Step 5. YIPPEE *Note 1 - Bunch of tutorials out there just search it, have not figured out how to get URP 15 which is required for new & improved PSX, so I stuck with older one *Note 1 - If starting new project, use built in pipeline and convert immediately to URP, pre-setup URP project threw me a bunch of errors *Note 1 - If using existing project with built in pipeline, conversion of asset rendering to URP can range from a couple material updates to a multi hour headache. Convert your assets but if it doesn't work after a good bit of trying, depending on how much work you've done, it may just be faster to re-do it all.

switch your materials to use the urp material shader instead of the built in material shader. you can do this automatically with the urp/hdrp wizard
how do you fixed the double buffering error in the CRT effect script?
Save the project separately and then just go to the old materials and change their shaders to the new one. That's far easy
work with urp ?

Guys i have some problem with URP custom render passes and i would like to ask someone with alot of experience for guidance on how might be wrong, where can i find some help for that, any discord links/forums/reddits(active ones, not dead)? If someone is interested basically im doing Sebastian's Lague raytracer in URP, everything works well in built-in(sebastian did it in built in), but for some reason the CommandBuffer blits are messed up in my pass. Im trying to average the rendered frames so that overtime the image becomes more stable like he did in the video, but after i try to blit 2 raytraced scenes into RTHandles when i debug it in the averageing shader one image works as intended but the second one either has the same color info as the previous material (im changing the values in the shader so its shouldnt be 1:1) or it's straight up a broken render with like the camera being 1/2 covered by something and all messed up and i dont even know how since theyre using the same material when blitting. Its honestly causing me to stop my learning path and im stuck because i just want this implementation to work in urp. (its not post processing and tonemapping affecting the calculations or anything ive checked that, its something with rendertextures, ive tried working it out with chatgpt but even the mighty ai is terrific at debugging this)
