670 was one my most reliable, cheapest to maintain sleds that i made alot of fun memories on. Especially after i added a mechanical reverse.

What elevation are you at? This thing is known for being underpowered but I still like them and thinking of getting one. I live at 6000' elevation so the thin air is only gonna make the engine even slower

I had a Mach Z with pipes and other work. There was nothing that could beat me top end. I had it at 140 one time and I let off the throttle. It still had some room to go. After that, it never went more than 80. The power is insane on that sled.

The size of the gearing will have nothing to do with your indicated speed of the speedometer, both are mechanical connections, thus your overall gearing will be reflected by the speedometer readings, regardless of gear selection.... bearing into consideration most speedometers are 10% optimistic..

My choice of thrill back than was the 700 XC , 220. Jugs , snowchecked Model , PSI center dump exhaust , But nothing like my Buddy had ? A 1998 Thundercat , across Big Bay , it never quit pulling , I wrapped the speedo around to the M , on MPH at the bottom of the Guage , and got scared !
