This is too good to be an avenger movie. When I watch it over and over again, I can only make one comment: it is a masterpiece.

As a Scottish descendant, living in South Africa and only visiting Scotland once when I was much younger than I am now. Having had the chance to see fort William and traveling the country side with my born and bred Scottish step father and hearing the stories, seeing Loch Ness, Loch Lomand, Isle sky, the castles and being in the fields that are greener and more beautiful than words can describe or any other part of the globe can compare to. It makes me proud to call myself a half breed Scott! I will go back some day be it to live or to be buried but I will go home again.

My Favourite scenes from this movie. When young Wallace is standing besides his father & brother’s grave with tears in his eyes, young maroon (looks at him) and gives him a flower.. jeez, no matter how many time Id watched this scene I choke all the time whenever I watch this scene😭. What a BGM by Sir Horner and what a piece of direction. Both James Robinson and Māori Calvey did a fantastic job.❤ NEXT Murron is badly beaten up and tied to a pole by local magistrate, bfr he slits her throat, with very little hope she looks for Wallace with teary eyes, hoping that she might be able to see him one last time. Jeez my heart starts pounding like anything. amazing piece of acting my Cathy McCormack ❤. True love Next @ battle of Falkirk, when Wallace finds out the masked man was Robert the Bruce, his heart torn apart by the betrayal, and gives up all his hopes. What a amazing acting my Mel in this scene? His acting skills are shown here, how he is hurt more by his own countrymen’s betrayal, than the defeat in the battle.

One of My favourite movies of all time. This movie made me realize the value of freedom. Can’t imagine life without freedom. Thanks Mel, for giving us this masterpiece.
