@@cyruskhalvati Well, you're doing great in that area. The huge difference here is more specifically for the piggyback style homes because they're essentially condo "style" townhomes with both Condo and HOA fees. Also, this unit is directly across from the Kentlands in Quince Orchard.

Also invested in a condo in Shepherd Park which is a great urban suburb in upper NW DC. Will eventually get a single family here when I can make it make sense. What’s cool is that, as a Durham native, these three cities all have rich histories. All have history of activism. All have successful, influential and affluent black people. All have had black leadership (Durham’s last mayor was HU grad). It’s easy to take for granted but it’s cool that our kids get the see it as normal. Will subscribe and lock you in should I do need the resource. Keep making content.

easier to get wealthier faster in DC, b/c there are simply more high income jobs vs the cost of housing. can share a 4 shower house with spouse or roommates, for 529k in atlanta yes, but only 730k for the same thing in DC. Meanwhile, there's like 5x more high income job openings in DC. would be a really bad decision to pass up on paying an extra 40% more for housing to access 400% more income opportunities.

You are correct. It's in upper Montgomery County. Only that first set of townhomes is on the main street. All the rest are setback in the community and therefore much safer. They're also some of the biggest, lowest priced new homes in the County. Just north of the $400ks.

You definitely know the area well! Yes, Washington Sports Club is gone and has since been replaced with a Dave & Buster's if you can believe it. Also, the huge area that was an interior lobby serving the movie theater and Silver Diner is now a rock climbing gym. Much has changed over the years my friend.

Dave & Busters was one of the last constructions when I left, Silver Diner I did not know about and successful Rock Climbing exists only on some executives drawing pad. As a former retailer you have to weigh the pros and cons. That is a heck of a lot of wasted construction if it goes south. I still have my coffee cups and dishes from the BORDER'S that closed a few blocks away.😎

@@RoddieSimmons 😆I think they saw the sustainability of the Rock Climbing Gym in Rockville off the Pike and figured they could capture market share. IDK. It's definitely risky, but I've seen so many businesses come and go in this area by now that I can only wish everyone the best 🤷🏽‍♂️.
