hey :) i was thinking to get a Canyon grail CF SL 7 - its now on a sale and I was wondering if you would recommend this bike compared to other bikes? I guess I know your and my answer tho...I have a triban 520 grvl for now but I always wanted something a bit more "fancy" the triban was an in-between purchase back then..

I would argue that grizl is a better option. I don't like proprietary D shaped seatpost. If you need to replace it it's gonna be expensive. If you one day decide for suspension seat post, no can do, although to be fair I read that grail's carbon seatpost offers some compliance. Integrated cockpit looks great but if it does not fit you and you want something wider or narrower, it's gonna be expensive to replace everything. Also if you are going to use that bike for super few hours long ride you would benefit from areobars but clamping to carbon handlebar is bad idea. It's a great racer though. Just manage your expectations before you buy.

Thanks for the great video, I just ordered the SLX myself Was wondering how do you fix the hammerhead to the mount? With the quarter turn adapter so it connects to the Garmin adapter? Or do you have a native hammerhead connector? (As the latter is way more solid).
