I'd hate to say it, but it really is. It takes too much investment for most people to buy a huge 4K TV, spend $300+ on a 4K player and then pay sometimes $30 for a 4K disc just to have it freeze or skip when you go to watch it, it vs signing up for a streaming subscription or buying digital 4K copies for a lot less money and investment. I watched a few 4Ks, didn't see what the big deal was about and sold them, went back to my regular Blu-ray player (LG BP350) and have been happy with that. On the rare occasion that I want to watch something while I'm traveling, I can always just rent a digital copy otherwise I have redeemed a lot through Vudu MD2D, and I think Vudu copies look just as good as a Blu-ray on my TV (provided the master is encoded well, because I've encountered a few that are not).
I just bought my vinyl version today. Gonna play it tonight... Great vid

I have 3 favourite films Back to the future 1,2,3 I buy 4K films. What I've struggled with is the price (maybe it's to do with the format) I'm after Ghostbusters 2 but even on eBay the price is ridiculous. Here in the UK it's difficult to find films on a particular format, we have loads of charity shops but they tend to be full of dvds (the occasional blu ray) so I've really had to be patient this year.
Yes definitely! I understand what you mean regarding price. That’s why I’ve stayed away from 4K and boutique blu rays.
My Target has 3 little displays at the end of the aisles and my Walmart has shrunk their physical media down . Unfortunately physical media is slowly going away .

As long as they sell them online and boutique label’s support physical media we’re okay Best Buy and target 🎯 sucks know they hardly have anything Go to music stores 🏬 they have a huge Physicsl media store with cds DVDs blue rays and 4ks and vhs 📼 Thank god we have Aomeba records in Hollywood keeping physical media alive 💿💿💿💿🙏🙏 Amazon and eBay are good too but they take advantage of prices 😅

I kind of agree. I have gotten a lot of stuff that is expensive through them but lately nearly everything I rent is trashed. People just do not care and ruin the discs.

@@OlDirtyDiego Yh more exclusive and they put more care into their releases, like making sure that the restorations are high quality. they mainly focus on more niche titles. Arrow is my favourite boutique label. Check them out.

I remember back in the late 90’s or early 2000’s having a magazine with an article about these Star Wars manga’s. Before throwing the magazine away I took scissors and cut the image of the manga’s cover out and glueing it thin cardboard and then glueing a magnet to the back to turn it into a fridge magnet. I still have it to this day. So 2 and a half years ago I was at my local game store and was walking by the book rack and seen several of those Star Wars manga sitting there and remembered that article I read 20 something years ago. I bought them on the spot. Fast forward to today I just found 2 more Star Wars manga to add to the collection

found this channel. This is one of the greatest albums in Hip Hop. I was in Senior Year of High School when it came out and I can confirm Mos Def back then was already like Andre 3000 today (but more active). Also, check out Black Star another Classic from that Era.
I definitely have been sleeping on black star! I never got into them as much as I did with this album. But I’ll give them a listen! Especially since I can appreciate Talib Kweli a lot more now than before.
@@OlDirtyDiego Basically the whole Rawkus records label in the late 90s was wort of like what Empire was doing recently. They had everybody on that label that laid the ground work for the Kendricks of today. I know you said you have work but keep up the channel. Hiphop and the community needs this!
