200 kmhr Belt Blow - no luck with Dayco! Ultimax going in!
When ripping the lake at high speeds the last thing you need is your belt to explode!
The Arctic Cat turbo is known for blowing belts, although my 2 turbos have been pretty good! Over 10 years I think I have blown 4 belts between the two.
Before I have always run Arctic Cat belts until the price sky rocketed! They are now $340 CDN. I had a cheaper spare in my bag - a Dayco. But now I will run Ultimax!
Why Ultimax? Well I asked the expert - Lewis Performance. I was looking for a replacement belt to the expensive Arctic Cat and he flat out told me to run Ultimax XS283.
Let’s Go Ultimax- keep me spinning over 200 km/hr!!

OneRide 2024 highlight video. This year did not disappoint! So many good clips and good times. There is nothing more that we want to do than riding our machines through the forest; exploring as many trails as we can! 2024 included multiple trips to Little Cuba (One where the trail was blocked due to logging and we had to find a way to get through), Crown land riding, lake exploring, multiple ni...
Log Jam | The best (1st) ride of the year | Until the end!! | Maxxis tire puncture

Welcome to the first SXS/ATV ride of 2025! It was the best ride of the year! (Dad joke!) All was good until a log decided to puncture and destroy Tim's tire on his Yamaha RMAX 1000. The Maxxis Carnivore just ate it and the side wall puncture was a costly finish to the ride. We are starting to switch over our drive belts to Ultimax belt - the best belts (and great prices) in my opinion! This sno...

I set out to make a secret hockey rink and I got to make an overview video of the Can Am Alpine Flex plow in action. The Can Am snowplow blade is very simple to install, it quickly clips on and off. Also I show the downfalls of using the synthetic rope - oh well I was still able to finish the rink. Enjoy and happy skating! Rally of the Tall Pines?
@@LtFransky yes, you got it!
@@OneRide My home town rally. It was great having a European team there.
@ it really was! I always like these “special guests” that come out r the rally.
Too much power! :)
Yup! I guess that’s what happens!!
Never store any manufactures belt with a “back bend”, appreciate the Ultimax visibility, absolutely three “heat cycles” and you’re good to go…
@@2SLEDDI was thinking about that back bend when I saw the belt. That has always been a “get me home belt”. But I should store it better!
Yabba Dabba Doo!!!
Sweet ride!!
@@quincee3376 thanks!! 🍻
I loved Twister's. Very fast..nice Kohler engines. I have a question. Would a 440 Fan cooled Trail-Twister beat a 340 free air Sno-Twister? I know both were fast but i also know the 440 Sno-Twister would beat a 440 Trail-Twister. Just wondering if a 340 Sno-Twister would too. Nice sled btw.
@@quincee3376 I don’t know for sure but from what I hear I think the 440 Fan might be quicker. It is very very close to the Sno Twister. I am actually building a Sno Twister 340 Liquid…. It won’t be ready until next winter. So I can see how those compare!
Merc Twister's were so nice . Both Sno-Twister and Trail-Twister.

@@draganarc0131 you can check out the Old Hastings Snow Riders Facebook page. Also I’ll try and remind to reply back to this comment when I hear the details for next year.
Very helpful to know, thank you for making this video!
@@1234mikeirving you’re welcome, thanks for the comment! I figured it would be good to share once it’s all apart.
I don't miss this old junk one bit. I wasted so much time fixing this crap when I could have been riding. It all belongs in the landfill.
Well there is a difference when these machines are your main rider. Some were more problematic than others but with proper repairs/inspection they could be very reliable.
Do the sleds need a permit to go on the ride?
I saw some people had permits. I don’t think all had them.
@ bummed that we missed it. How does one go about finding out about snowmobile shows ,rides, and races in the area? By area, I mean a a couple hundred miles.
@@Dick-v6h hopefully you can make it next year! I find all my info from Facebook groups. The ACSCC group is a good source of info.
This takes me back to the 80's when my dad would get all the sleds running and every weekend we'd go out riding with a bunch of people from our town Very fun times
The good ol’ days! It must have been a blast!

If anyone happens to be in the Dorchester area 5miles south on Dorchester Rd there’s a place with about 30 Ski Doos I’d swear starting from the 60s don’t know the details just saying

Haha. Awesome times at the Granite! Glad you enjoyed a day of sledding. Some breakdowns for sure 😂 cheers
Looks like a great show! Well done recording the excitement and diligence of so many who are committed to maintaining such a valuable part of Canadian history. I have never been a sled guy, I have only ridden a dozen or so sleds in my life most of them from the 70's and 80's. This is so cool to see machines from these times. Keep up the good work!

I think we need some kind of stat sheet, lol! To start, thus far two OneRiders have lost one wheel each... Lol! Not sure how we calculate points or accumulate points? But somehow I think both riders who lost wheels on a ride get bonus points in the standings....
@@adamellis4301 well we need to sit down with a couple cold ones and start making a point system! Of course these points will be retroactive. Being rag dolled is a high score!
