People watch one piece for a lot of different things, but oda writes his arcs for many different focus as well Skypia has amazing worldbuilding, foreshadowing (roger's writing), character building (robin's first adventure with strawhats), and the overall fun and heavy themes. People says to skip it just because it's not alabasta and not ennies lobby.

It is a foreshadowing because before even gear 5 was introduced in the manga ODA said that the panel in which luffy is dancing in front of fire in this scene is his favourite manga panel he draw also if you see luffy is dancing in the nika pose here indicating ODA foreshadowed gear 5 in this scene

@@lufeetsThis is sign that Luffy is a child of profecy or something but not a Gear 5 foreshadowing, Gears concept came latter and Oda just fit the concept of Nika in Gear 5 later on

Bro.... Nobody can finish the arc in a day. Because it's boring from the beginning. I took 5 days to finish it. Whereas it took me 10 days to finish wci.

That's literally why I advised y'all to read the manga in the first place, because you can still skim-read the chapters and grasp the important details while leaving out the unnecessary stretch.
