    If you don't use the app you can't make certain adjustments to the delta 2 or any ecoflow power station. In the app you can adjust the AC to never turn off. Since the delta 2 isn't noticing any power being used it probably turning the AC plugs off by default.

    • @not.a.prepper
      @not.a.prepper Месяц назад

      Sorry, I would not. My suggestion is, if you want an UPS, buy an UPS. I've read other people trying to use an Ecoflow as an UPS, and it doesn't turn out the way they hoped. The Ecoflow Delta 2 would be good in a situation where you have a dedicated UPS, power goes out, and you save your data with a quality ups. Then, you plug your computer into your Ecoflow to continue work, knowing the battery has a limited wattage before it will need to be recharged, too.

      I can say I do not. It is a rechargeable battery. My opinion here, not provable fact but I think, as it slow drains and keeps pulling energy from your wall, it will be burning through your cycles. Another concern would be if your place/home gets a power surge. You don't want your backup battery to be knocked out with the rest of your house.

Doing that is much cheaper per wh than the official EcoFlow expansion battery.

    Interesting proof of concept here. A heat pump dryer is a much less electrically stressful way to get dry clothes. They run on 120V and take about 1.5 kWh to dry a load. 1.4 Amps X 110 volts = 154 watts for your freezer. I have 2 delta pros. I use 1 for my portable heat pump and TV etc. in my room. The other runs my freezer. I bought 2 digital timers from Amazon and use them to control when the pros are allowed to charge from the grid. This makes my power off peak and saves a little until I can add some solar panels. My peak $ is .23/KWH and off peak is .10KWH. With the Midea portable heat pump and the off peak power, this first month may-june my electric/gas bill has dropped $50.00 from the same period 2023. I do have a gas water heater. So the $50.00 drop is electricity. The average temperature is the same for both periods.

  • @enkhyy

    Run time would also be impacted by how full the freezer is. Your Whs are the total watts consumed then divided by the number of running hours e.g over a 24 or 48 hr period. That may be the most helpful metric in determining the long-term appliance consumption and battery support.

    I bought 2 of these bi-facial panels. Use them camping and on the beach they work great. In my yard if I place them on the lawn I average around 180 to 190 watts. If I lean them on the side of the house where the siding is a whitish/beige color it reflects light back to the panel and I average around 225 to 245 watts. It seems that your yard is not friendly for solar panels. I have the same issue in the back yard with trees providing shade all day long. I've got the same unit with the extra battery, however it is wonky from time to time with unexplained shut downs for no apparent reason. When I contact EcoFlow they tell me to reset the unit by holding the power button in for 15 seconds to see if that works. I lost confidence in this unit to rely on it so it just sits here with nothing plugged in. I had originally purchased it to power my lift chair and some lights in a power failure. I don't trust it. I'm disabled so my lift chair is important so as to be able to get up. If this fails during a power failure, I have no way to get up. So the unit completely failed my needs in terms of reliability. I'd buy a different brand. Maybe a Battleborn and an inverter would solve my need, better.

Heck, it might have gotten too hot or too cold prior to you getting it. I would be trying to get my money back, but if it has gone beyond the warranty time frame, try to have family or friends run some tests with them. Also, you have to keep them away from excess dust, pet fur, and heat. Like most electronics, you need good air flow, and if the internal fans get clogged, I'm sure you'd run into problems. Again, I'm sorry you ran into issues.

    I've been looking into finally getting a solar generator. I've been putting it off for too long. I'll probably start with a smaller Pecron before I commit to a larger eco flow or something like that

      The Ecoflow Delta 1300 is a little old now. Mine still works well. I like to use it with different electronics to test it out. Unfortunately, I've only posted a few results.

      Is there more than 1/1000th of a Troy ounce of gold in a single goldback, and if so, how much?

      @@not.a.prepper the single goldback is guaranteed to have 1/1,000th however they have slightly more just to be on the safe side, I want to say somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-4% more than advertised. There are higher denominations of goldbacks too: 5, 10, 25, and 50 denominations exist and they're all proportionally larger! the 50 goldback for example is advertised as 50/1,000th of an ounce, or about half a 1/10th oz coin.

    A couple quick things that come to mind for me: 1. there is no more constitutional/junk silver being produced. at least not in such small denominations that they'd be useful for smaller transactions like Goldbacks. 2. junk silver is not fungible in the same way goldbacks are, and 3. there has never been a counterfeit goldback as they have superior-to-bank-note levels of security features. using constitutional silver would mean that both parties would need a way to verify legitimacy of the coins. especially with all the fakes coming in from certain countries now.
