I agree. I'm tired of the noise. In the state where I live, the government is constantly preaching about climate change and telling us to turn down our thermostats, bring our own bags, limit our driving time and much more... while they have mandated massive building projects everywhere. The reason for this mandate is supposedly a housing crisis with the need of affordable housing. Literally every street in my town is filling up with huge apartments, many of them luxury! (i.e., far from affordable for many people here.) where trees used to be. These projects are encroaching on the wetlands and there's ongoing legislation to see how much more of it they can take and build on or use. Countless animals have lost their homes. Every day except Sunday the construction noise is going all over town. The hypocrisy is unreal. Every day I wait for night... when I can hear some of the animals that still remain here...a raccoon screeching, bats singing their night song and an occasional haunting call of a coyote. I appreciate this video so much and I love the premise of this grass roots movement!

I live in a 1910-built small cottage (I own) in the middle of a 55-acre orchard (I don't own) with 27,000 fruit trees in Canada. One friend visiting said he couldn't stand the sound of the silence. Other guests drink it up like they are dying of thirst. Am hoping that, when I die, the next owner will feel as deeply as I do about preserving this little antidote to civilization...

Beautiful thank you - we also need to recognise that over use of planes destroys ecosystems and we need to be more responsible about how often we fly - it is destroying our planet and to not recognise that is putting ones head in the sand.

Although I feel for the ppl in LA wildfires it must be devastating but what about the wild animals!… all the press are printing out about celeb houses destroyed in the wildfires. What about the Millions & millions of animals loosing their homes and lives. The environmental damage! Greed is destroying our planet. Don’t see any signs of that changing 😢 I don’t want grandchildren because of the way this world is going

People have laid waste to this planet as a result of being indoctrinated by this verse: Genesis 1:26: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth". I believe it's a load of elephant crap; and we don't have dominion over them as to take that position would be presumptuous and arrogant.
