A wee jaunt up the corbett Ben Vrackie just outside Pitlochry, a decent day weather ways but also a very busy mountain, due to it being a Saturday and the fact that there were a lot of very inspiring people tackling the corbett to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support, a very well maintained footpath and a lovely wee lochan Loch a' Choire at the foot of the mountain, stunning views all aroun...

The last of our six day Glen Affric adventure, tackling the Mullardoch 4, An Socach, An Rhiabhachan, Sgurr na Lapaich & Carn nan Gobhar, the weather looked so promising coming along the loch on the Loch Mullardoch Ferry Service (Angus) but a couple of hours in the conditions changed and steadily got worse throughout the day, certainly a test of character but we lived to tell the tale, myself & ...

Todays Glen Affric adventure, sees us take on Tom a' Choinnich & Toll Creagach from the Chisholm Bridge carpark adjacent to Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin, the weather below 700m was fine but as we climbed higher we soon became engulfed in the clag. Hopefully the walk up to this point and the drone footage pulls this one this one out of the bag for me, still an enjoyable day and another 2 Munros done,...

Why is everything supposedly haunted in Scotland All click bait😂😂😂😂😂😂
Usually very old buildings with local folklore stories of ex inhabitants still putting in an appearance 👻 but I think 🤔 your right every bothy in Scotland seems to be haunted 😂
Another cracker Brian. I remember at school at Faskally, we did Ben Vrackie and looked across to see Schiehallion and it looked absolutely amazing with the distinctive peak. Loved this video. 👍
Nice 1 mate, looked a cold one 🥶. At least you got the views this time. Fantastic 👌

Are ALL bothies haunted?!? I think this is video number seven I've watched of haunted Scottish bothies (or bothys). Just asking.
Because they are usually very old buildings, there's always the local stories about people experiencing weird goings on about past occupants still haunting the place, for example the old lady who fed the chickens at Abbyssinnia or the one legged man calling at the bothy in the wee small hours, I think the stories go hand in hand with most old buildings, castles etc, for what it's worth I don't believe in all those ghostly goings on but hand on heart, I went outside for the call of nature and when I tried to re-enter the bothy it felt like someone was applying pressure on the inside of the door, trying to keep me out, I thought 🤔 it was obviously one of my mates playing a prank but when I lost my patience and forced entry by using my shoulder, to my surprise 🫢 I found my two mates where sitting cosily in front of the fire 🔥 and the glass door to that room was firmly closed, there was no way they could have moved that quickly, they confirmed they hadn't moved recently but thought 🤔 maybe the beer 🍺 had kicked in 😂 I know it certainly wasn't the beer 🍺 as it's a simple one push latch and not even a turning handle, kinda strange 😬
@@thelifeofbrian282 Thanks much for your response!
