As a freelance content writer, I recently tried the LinkedIn Ads Accelerate campaign. I set an objective of website visits, hoping that a high number of impressions would result in a high click through rate to my website / contact page / actual enquiries. Despite achieving 33K impressions in the first 7 days, there were only 0.65% clicks onto my website - around 250 visitors from the campaign. Sadly none of those made enquiries. I therefore paused the campaign rather than see more money disappear from my lifetime budget. I am currently assessing if this is the right advertising strategy for me. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated!

Thank you for this incredibly helpful tutorial! I successfully implemented phone call button tracking on my website using Google Analytics 4 about eight months ago (not using Google Tag Manager), and it worked perfectly up until November 13-14, 2024. Suddenly, the tracking stopped working, and the phone call button events are no longer being recorded in GA4. I’ve rechecked the implementation, and everything appears fine on my end. I’m wondering if there have been any recent updates or changes in GA4 that might be causing this issue. Have you or anyone else in the community encountered this recently? Is there a workaround or fix that you’d recommend?

@@djmweb1no solution. It seems that there was a bug on one of recent Google Analyrics new version roll outs and there are other users affected. I ended up setting up GTM to track phone calls (“tel:”) instead.
Same problem here - all of my goals set up that way have stopped working too. Has anyone found a workaround?

If you're asking if that example post/answer I showed is still working...that same post is still generating us leads and sales, even to this day If you're asking if the approach that I covered in the video is still working, personally I see this as more of a fundamental principle than just a marketing 'tactic' I don't think helping your target audience to solve big, painful problems without asking for anything in return will ever die out as a strategy But like, anything, best to try it for yourself and find out 😉

Guys - See his past posts, that‘s not a winning strategy (At least how he did it, so try to do it better). I think the overall strategy sounds reasonable, maybe Elevate just underestimated the specific subreddit.

Thanks for a great summary. So a question - should one have an account for the brand or for the individual running the brand? Or both? Pl share what does most of the entrepreneurs building their brands do.
Personally I'd recommend using a personal account! I see a lot of people posting under a business account but it's much harder to gain traction... The majority of people don't trust brand/business accounts so you're likely to get better engagement with a personal account which is in turn what will help you get the visibility. Just make sure you include your business info and website in your profile so people have a way of finding out more if they choose to The only time I'd recommend using a business account is if you're an established brand using Reddit for community management and engagement

Hahah, right!? The Redditers really tore me a new one that day...😆 To be fair though, it was actually super interesting for me to see how angry people got. Obviously it's not a representation of everyone but it does show how fed up/sceptical/untrusting some people are of marketers and marketing advice these days, and how much work needs to be done to repair that trust I think Reddit reveals a lot of the unspoken truths of how people really feel on different topics because of the anonymity they have Contrary to what a lot of people think about Reddit, it's also one of the platforms least filled with trolls and bots because the karma system usually takes care of that

Great video! I noticed you haven't posted or commented on reddit in 4 months. Did you find it an overall waste of time or was there a better solution?
Good spot ;-) Mainly just because we've been crazy busy over the past few months - RUclips & Organic Search have always been our biggest acquisition channels so the focus is on those, but I would like to do more Reddit, we've been talking about some of the team contributing when time allows - the natural limiting factor with Reddit is that it takes time to manually interact with people and leave genuinely valuable comments. But then again, it also took me years of posting video and blogs on our website to build up the RUclips channel and our website SEO to the point they actually brough us leads and sales - so it all just depends on where you're starting from I guess... If I was starting now from scratch, honestly, I would probably go the Reddit route initially as the speed to getting results can be much quicker.

Thank you for this video. I was confused because when I start typing link_url into the parameters field it doesn't autopopulate or come up in a suggested parameters list. SO... are you saying it's impossible to track anchor link clicks (via class or ID attributes) without using Google Tag Manager?
@@pbryan1967 yeah it's strange how some come up and some don't, does make you wonder what other parameters GA4 can actually read, but I'm not aware of any way of being able to track anchor link clicks outside of GTM but let us know if you find any work arounds!
