When you drilled through the aluminum bed rail, did you paint the inside of the holes?
No, we weren't concerned about corrosion because they are aluminum

Usually i don't copy but to good not to.
Coast side looks a hair deep
Side by sides make jeeps look silly Offroad
They are also why a lot of the trails have been torn up.

what gage power wire did you use and how much weight will this set up hold/pull- looks great
We ran 2ga wire. We didn't run a max weight test but we did pull a 4x4 4wheeler in neutral with a rider and regular loading ramps with no issue.

Awesome video! We are looking to regear our 92 explorer and if you guys were anywhere near us we would have you guys work on it. We might try it ourselves but we don't have the tools.

Where does the washer go? It seems like it should be somewhere in the rear of the pinion but it doesn't show it here
I filmed this the last "open weekend of the old trail" went to edit my video and lost 3/4s of it to corruption, hopefully the forest service keeps to reputation and don't close it on time. Ironically the 19 reasons it happened was at the end of the trail.
Do you know if it’s still open and if so when does it get closed down for the winter? We live in Kalispell Montana. Loved the Video. Looks like a great trail.
My wifes jeep just broke 5 teeth on the rear pinion. She has 4.56, and she runs a 38. So now luckily me, I get to spend my holiday week re gearing both her axles to 5.13s. This will be the first time I have done a ring and pinion myself. So hopefully, I don't mess it up too bad 🤣🤣 I enjoyed the video as well by the way.

@Freedom Four Wheel well it was successful. I was able to install 5.13s with a rear mechanical locker. With no issues, and everything is driving great.
