    NG 2005 9-3 2t convertible owner: OMG Dont attack the steering wheel if its indicators or high beam trouble! Just pull the stalk out - just takes a firm tug (how well designed) - then 'generously' spray aerosol electric cleaner into the contacts - presto done in 2 minutes (my high beam weren't staying on)

    When doing this CIM - Module repair does it require programming new CIM Module? Or is it simply a plug and play here year I'm asking about is 03 Saab 93 arc thanks...

      If you only replace the steering angle sensor and clock spring and you leave your old cim computer in you shouldn’t need to do any programming

    I've been having charging issues with my Buell for two years and just using a portable jump pack. I found a video of a guy testing the regulator/stator on a Harley, but I couldn't figure out how to identify those pieces on my Buell. Also watched a bunch of videos about stator replacement and was just discouraged by the thought of having to take apart the primary. This looks much more doable. Fingers crossed that it's just the regulator for me as well

    • @ddubsgarage8285
      @ddubsgarage8285 4 месяца назад

      Follow the steps and if your stator is putting out the right voltage then it’s most likely your regulator! Good luck!

      @@ddubsgarage8285 I'm officially stumped :( stator puts out a solid 30v AC at idle, but my new voltage regulator only puts out 12.8v DC. I've tested the diodes on three voltage regulators (my og one, a used one from eBay, and a new one from Amazon), and diode checks seem good (allowing positive flow and preventing negative flow) on all three 😩

    • @ddubsgarage8285
      @ddubsgarage8285 4 месяца назад

      @@project_ij damn. Does the 12.8v increase with throttle? That is a little low for charging at idle but if it comes up with a little more rpm you could be on the edge of ok. If your stator is putting out that much ac voltage then it is good. Maybe you have a broken wire or a short somewhere

      @@project_ij damn. Might need to break out a service manual and start testing anything related to the system. Sometimes bad grounds can cause very odd electrical issues. Make sure your battery terminals are super clean and look for grounds on your chassis and make sure those are clean too.
