Very cool video. It's beautiful there. My maternal family is Campbell. I believe my cousin found them in Paisley or they left from Paisley. But I'm trying to figure out which city their from. There's another castle in Duntrune, so I'm confused how their in different places. That haunted castle in Duntrune is what I'm trying to relate to. Thanks!

Fantastic cinematic videos. For Historic Scotland sites do you need permission to fly over them?
If flying drone under 250g then no permissions are needed HS will say you do, but CAA rules the sky above not HS. If drone is over 250g then you can use Article 16 of the CAA drone laws

Great video! Out of curiosity, how difficult is the process of getting the permission to fly over Drummond? I know what hoops you need to jump through to fly in Culzean or other NTS castles, but Drummond is a other trust and there is nothing on their website about it.

Castle is owned by the National Trust, you can visit inside and there is also an apartment that they rent out to tourists. Beautiful place.

Glad you enjoyed it, it really transforms the building. Was done in 2007 when it was discovered the castle's concrete facing would soon need replacing, Lord Glasgow invited four Brazilian graffiti artists to decorate the walls. This was still in place in 2011, when the Earl sought permission from Historic Scotland to keep the graffiti permanently.
