Philip Carreon is one of the most skilled and widely-respected artists working in the fashion and film industry today. With over thirty years of experience in both salons and on set, Carreon has established himself as the go-to stylist for many of Hollywood's top actresses, including Anne Hathaway, Meg Ryan, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Winona Ryder, Courtney Cox and Demi Moore.
A native of Los Angeles, Philip spent the first half of his career working for Sebastian International, where he assisted co-owner Geri Cusenza, and for which he was artistic director for sixteen years. Philip developed a reputation as both a gifted stylist and educator, traveling frequently to teach styling techniques.

i cut my hair in the long version of it. I have so much hair and i wanted something shorter but maintain length that i grew over the year and i can style it more easily on a daily basis. I am a mom and a house wife and i help my husband in his company and i have a dog that needs his 3 hour walk. So i am on the go all days of the weak. So my washes twice a week are easily then with my long hair.

Philip, if memory serves, you were one of the luminaries at the original Cassandre 2000, c. '84. One of my contemporaries while at cosmetology school coinciding was a firebrand poised to be lit on the freestyle and hip-hop scenes called Tairrie B, who was an aspiring makeup artist at the time. Even by then she had chronicled several iterations of personal style in photographs. She was the type of girl who could convert to herself the electrons in the room upon entering. I will always remember her appearing fresh from Cassandre and your chair, with a spiked, jet black pixie with chunks of blood red and orange interspersed. That work instantly summed up what I had come to expect, demand even, as the kind of inspiration that should warrant my pursuing this craft, this business. Of course, I withdrew from all of it because the business and I were never to be cut from the same cloth. But I have an indelible place amidst my cognitive map for that moment, manifest by your ingenuity. Much respect, creative one.

A mullet is not a shag is not a wolf not. That’s really a rockstar shag, a true mullet is very short and off the ears up top and definitely longer in the back. A true mullet is well, ugly😅.

Hello. There is no grease or oil at all. If you listen it is a set rather than a blowout, using a cream and left to dry. when you see the reveal at the end it is dry not greasy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE ... I cut hair for over 30 years and this was my favorite cut to give to people. But even more so, it's always been my favorite cut to wear. I have baby fine hair and it's always worked well for my own hairstyle. BEST demonstration ever. Thanks for sharing. I will be cutting my own again tomorrow, like I've done for years. Have never been able to find a stylist near me that can cut like this... and cut with a razor. So I've cut my own hair for years and years since I moved from California to Kentucky.
