Third Girl, A Hercule Poirot Mystery by Agatha Christie|| Complete || Read by Hugh Fraser
Просмотров 417 тыс.Год назад
It features her Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and the recurring character Ariadne Oliver. The novel is notable for being the first in many years in which Poirot is present from beginning to end. It is uncommon in that the investigation includes discovering the first crime, which happens comparatively late in the novel. Read by Hugh Fraser

The crackling wood makes it unbearable. Either do a fire place or the story, not both.
I STRONGLY dislike the sound of the crackling fire, it interferes with my hearing aids and destroys the pleasure of listening
Thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook, as I haven't read the actual novel.
Great reading as always, but what's with the background sounds of someone tapping on a keyboard or chopping vegetables?
The Peacock! Why are young men nowadays all bald and overweight, dressed in sloppy grey clothes and sneakers?
❤❤❤I just LOVE 😊❤🎉The 🔥 visual fireplace crackling please keep it up ❤ it lends the coziest atmosphere while listening 🎉😊😊 I'm so over the rain I don't find anything cozy about rain !! The fireside experience with a top Agatha Christie reading is TRUE ❤BLISS 😊
Another absolute masterpiece of play by Hugh Fraser. Thank you so much.
Hugh Fraser does an amazing impression of David Suchet’s Poirot
Crackling fire is most annoying
If it wasn’t for the fact that lovely Hugh Fraser was narrating I would’ve given up on this long winded story about a third of the way through. It is just way over blown and could’ve been a nice story in about an hour NOT 7 hours!!! Bah‼️🤨
I enjoy the sound of the crackling fire.
Don't need distraction of fire sounds.
I really can't help but join the omniscient praise for Mr. Fraser! Just with his voice alone he creates spaces with groups of people, and I swear, the moment that elder porter spoke up I absolutely saw him step up to Poirot and the younger Porter, taking his cap off, to the dead woman. Agatha Christie has been with me on and off through 50 years now and the older I get, the more I appreciate her wit. What a treat this here upload is! Thank you so very much!
Not her best story, but beautifully read
Hugh Fraser is perfect narrator

Wonderful story & Hugh Frazer is the best narrator. He needs to be given RUclips prize 🏆
Such an engaging story! The narrator really brings the characters to life. Can't wait to hear more!
Great story & HW 2:15:14 best narrator
Weak story by Agatha Christie! Great reading by Hugh Fraser! Really irritating fire crackling that sounds like static.

PS: Agatha Christie left a scintillating script!
A superb example of vocal acting.
acting.
Thx for the crackling fire. Ahhhh.😌

It is a shame for the crackling of the fire. It gets in the way for me. So, no , thank you!
3:08:45
It's hard to believe that he does all these characters ❤
Wonderful✨
HATE THE DAMN FIRE EFFECT....!!! FOR THOSE OF US WITH HIGHLY SENSITIVE HEARING, LISTENING WITH EARPHONES, IT'S DEEPLY DISTRACTING, UNPLEASANT, IRRITATING, UPSETTING, AND TOTALLY UNNECESSARY....!!!!
All caps is MUCH more annoying...
I am glad that there are diverse tastes and something for everybody and that people are enjoying the fire. For me, I am off to find a version without the crackling sounds. Every crackle distracts me and makes me forget what he was talking about! (I should probably look into an ADD evaluation...). Enjoy!
I'm the same 😢
The background flames sounds are annoying as fuck! Otherwise great story to listen to 👍
R got who
00:09:06 !
In this context, 'Nom de Nom de Nom' was the bit I found especially rib-breaking.
Thank you for uploading ❤
Thank you for this 🙏🏽 I love the sound of the fire in the background
Gave up after an hour. That damn crackling fire was really irritating!
Spring, summer, autumn or winter Hugh Fraser’s readings of Agatha Christie’s writings are wonderful to listen to, never failing to give great pleasure!
Exellent read as always,Mr Fraser 🎉 you are a true linguist,I love your mrs Oliver..
Sooo much repetition of the same information over and over. The Resteric family history, David Baker, Rhys Holland, Norma’s mental state etc. Repeated more than 4 times already and there’s still 2 hrs left in the book 😮💨
I thoroughly like Mr Goby: i wonder why AC didn't write for him?
I'd marry a man for that voice alone.😍
2:29:07 pag 74
"Criminal Assault." 😂
2:02:47 pag 62
Can the fire sound
34:57 pag 22
Hugh Fraser is so talented. He brings every character to life, but Mrs Oliver is my absolute favourite.
I sometimes listen to the ones with Mrs Oliver in them just to hear Hugh Fraser do the voice!
Why the fuck did you ruin this?!
