Favorite Scene : T-Bag Meet His Son
"the scene" This is the most important scene in the entire film... in that degradation of the human being, in that violence, Norman experiences a detachment... between his life before and the brutality of what the human being is capable of, the lowest aspects of our shadows... the loss of the soul, of the sense of right and wrong... Grady, by embracing him and saying 'this is war, do you feel it?' with the means he has, also a person who lost his humanity over the years at the front, finds an extreme act of sensitivity, trying as best as he can to transmit his own pain to Norman... that 'it's called war' at that moment means that it was as if he wanted to tell him: 'Look at me! Do you understand why we are reduced to this? We feel this every time, and all of this has taken away our souls.' A scene that truly takes your breath away for its intensity, and there, John Bernthal's skill is masterful. I think about how many, after the conflict, had to live with the monsters that remained in their hearts and minds... and how many still do today... because man shows every day that he learns nothing from his own mistakes. Im Italian and i know these stories trough my grandpas...who was involved in war...you can change the uniforms, but underneath we are all the same...
The implication here is the forest knew the entire time that he was different even though he acted oblivious to it And that he knew that the way people treated him was not fair or right
In this moment, we realize as a audience that Forrest understood every insult, every slight, every wrong thats happened to him, and he didn't want his son to suffer as he suffered.
The wolf meets his son
He was gonna say “is he smart or is he like me” 😢
Whoa, that’s the kid from “The Sixth Sense.”
And "Secondhand lions"
Jenny sucks
For anyone who has never been in the position, I hope you never do. But that time when he's yelling asking if he feels it is a very very fucking real moment for all of us
It definitely is. I remember saying this to a new volunteer from Sweden when a Russian drone hit us. So we sent some back and he couldn't do it. So we had a talk like this with him...he ended up going back home and we don't hold any grudges against him. He helped while he was here... I lost friends so I'm bound here until death.
T-bag isn’t a good guy no one would ever make that mistake but whatever you want to say about him he did love his son and he did want to help him. He just never got the chance
Would they be safe under the tank?
"Everyone thinks Jenny didn’t deserve Forrest, but the truth is, she didn’t feel like she deserved him. She kept running because she didn’t know what love was. By the end, it wasn’t about Forrest’s money or convenience-her son shares his mannerisms, his questions, his heart. That kind of connection isn’t built overnight."
Could not of chose a better instrumental then this, it literally screams war and sorrow
why am i crying
Masterclass.
such good acting wow what a film
Jesus..
This scene really turns my girlfriend on-she loves his screaming and the close-up on his screaming face.

What are the odds that Schofield bumps into a random guy and thinks “whoa he reminds me of tbag” and then looks into his background and it WAS him 😮 idk seems too much of a long shot
he didn't just bumps into a random guy, he was looking for a partner that has simillar abilities like t bag and then he did a research about t bag and found out that he has a son and apparently his son was in a jail and michael breaks him out
My uncle is mentally handicapped and in his 60’s now, Tom Hanks portrayed what it like perfectly
😮😮😮
❤❤❤❤
Alguien sabe como se llama la música q esta de fondo cuando están hablando?
I get the fear that Forrest has for his son, worrying that he might have to endure what he went through. It almost has a touch of internalized shame, and that is easy to understand. But then I reconsider who Forrest showed himself to be time and again. He was a lot of things, but ashamed of himself was never one of them.
Such an awesome film. Shame that due to the PC brigade great actors will never play parts like this again.
Let me tell you something!
I also t cried at this scene. You can see in Tbag's eyes even after all the awful things he has done and the fact he has never met his son before, but the first time in his life he actually feels love for someone
I thought T-Bag was sterile because of his inbred parentage...
Robert is such a great actor . He makes it so real
WHAT IS THE WORD "SMART" MEANS TO YOU?
Started off Prison Break despising T-Bag, finished it with him as my favourite character
It’s called war. Can you feel it? What a line.
Forrest Gump had some of the best rng in life
Yeah this gives me chills bloody evertime 🙏🙏🙏
At least he didn’t have to pay child support.
Cette scène est magnifique et en même temps déchirante. Le cri de Norman juste après "It's called war. You feel it !?". Et dire que des personnes ont vécu/vivent actuellement ce cauchemar, pour de vrai...
HOW DID MICHAEL EVEN KNOW
Whats this music please
best job i ever had

Tbag was the ultimate survivor!
7 years ago... jfc why just why? Tf is life lmaooooooooo
I like how War Daddy and Bible are just chilling on the tank smoking a cigarette as they leave the destroyed town only moments after nearly being blown up. They’re just like “meh, just another day”. Tragic
This scene really encapsulates the most human version of Forrest. He is truly aware of his mental condition and he doesn’t mind it. But when it comes to his son, that’s his most vulnerable moment as he feared his son might end up the same as him.
Is he smart or is he like me 😢
I actually cried from this scene 😢
ahhhh still hits me man.
War is when the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other. Glad i never enlisted :(
The most masculine war film I've ever watched❤
Writers forgot that T-Bag can't "procreate" which he said himself in season 2💀
He didn't knew he can he probably thought he can't
@@rebeccagoodnight96 Nope, he was very explicit when he said it, and it's also a reason why he wanted a family with Hollander because she had kids that liked him.
@thuglaza4728 T bag can lie . Like I say he probably didn't know he can knock someone up just because he say something doesn't mean he was right. This t bag we talk about
