Next time warm up the engine before removing glow plugs. You have damaged the plug because you pushed it to much on cold engine. Also use a torque wrench when untightening, with a torque the same as for tightening.

You're a legend for this video! Thanks I have to replace that rubber boot/grommet so will need to pull the loom out, can you remember if there is a plug for that loom maybe just inside the cabin or will I likely be pulling the whole loom out of the tailgate?

Great video, thanks Dionich! Point to note for anyone else attempting this job: the 16mm bolts that fix the aluminium bushing block to the sub frame have a tendency to seize when removing. It’s a known problem. Passenger side snapped on me when removing which was an absolute pain to fix and the driver side very nearly did too. My suggestion would be to: - Clean the exposed threads on the top side of the subframe. There’s not much clearance, so a small bendable wire brush would be ideal. - Hit the head of the bolt with a few good blows of a hammer - Use lots of penetrating oil and let sit for as long as possible - Heat the bolt with a blow torch and allow to cool. Do this 2-3 times before removing. If you notice any resistance while removing, stop and repeat the last three steps before slowly working it out with a wrench - don’t use an impact as there’s no ‘feedback’. Might take an extra 10-15 minutes but believe me, it beats having to extract / bore through a snapped bolt! They’re torque to yield bolts, so Dionich is spot on when he says to replace them.

Hi, if we replaced new battery with same capacity? Do I still need to register it? What happened if i dont register for a quite while? Coz i dont have the coding program. Also, when replacing battery, when disconnecting the battery? Will i lose all data memory like in transmission , engine and other coding like disabled start stop button function? Is it safe to do so without external supply maintain the voltage in car?
