Hi I'm new to your channel and I love your video and I wrote down the books you said because I'm trying read more books and just maybe write my own stories. Also have you watched the animes call Sankarea: Undying Love and Shiki and High School of the dead? They are my favorite horror animes and I may have more about I forgot what they are call and I enjoyed watching horror and I love vampire and mermaids and werewolves and Siren. To me, I think mermaid and Siren are two different creatures because to me mermaids become Sirens. They become Siren from getting there heart break and they give up on love completely. Also I think you should try watching a anime call Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch and it's not horror but a action and romance anime but it is a really good anime and I love it so much.
