Camp Snap Screenless Camera - Old School Feel
This is retro feel for me. It keeps us in the moment and not looking at the images and taking time to post them while we are out on an adventure. It's not for everyone and that's ok.

FAD Flashlights - Ozark Trail Inexpensive Flashlights - Worth It?
Many thanks for this vid. I have a photo project that will involve these cameras 😂. But your description of what it is and who its geared towards was the info i was looking for🤟🏼
Screamy tape, goth pockets and hole punches 😅
Thank you for this! I just recently got this backpack for work and my one complaint was the support panel. I wrestled with it before I finally found your video! Love finding random people on the internet with the same issues I have!
Is it holding up?
With light use, so far so good. It is far too hot to go out camping or anything here in the summer months but my daughter does some major use testing indoors with them. It's not as quality as the big name brands, however its a fraction of the cost too so that helps.
@@AtwoodThreads Thank you for responding I live in Az I know what you mean about heat can't wait for fall.
@@jessk4862 Its pretty warm out here right now for sure, but I love it
You pronounced it how I do. This is a 30ltr backpack. The company is based on the Sunshine Coast in Qld Australia. It was started by a husband & wife. I have the black w/green. They just came out with an all black one but it has been sold out for awhile.
Thank you! I am loving this bag so far. Have carried it every day since I opened it. I made a few tweaks to it to make it better for me personally but it works well. Take Care!
I am waiting for my Multicam CT21!
I love them personally. Well built and work so well for me in the workspace.
The Issue here in the Philipines in Manila you can't use any SWISS ARMY KNIFE OR GERBER OR LEATHER MAN TOOLS. DUE TO X RAY MACHINES. THE USUAL THING THEY ASK YOU IF YOU ARE MEMBER OF THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL TEAM... OR E.M.T... OR THE E.M.S WHY?
Wow, I had no idea they were that strict
I’ve been using the compression straps for quick carry off a jacket, tripod, or “MOLLE”
Nice 👍
10 is better minus the media pocket
If they would only do away with the media pocket or add the slip pockets back ha ha
@@AtwoodThreads agreed
Great little kit, this makes me wanna throw something together in a similar style. The one big thing I'd add to it is a knife of some sort... preferably a SAK but even a cheap folding knife. You've got an entire thing of paracord in there, just no way to cut it in the kit itself for example. lol Granted, your thinking is probably that you've already GOT a knife on you which would make total sense. I'm just thinking more in the sense of a self contained "kit".
Yeah I pretty much always have at least one knife on me and with me. Great point though and a very much needed item for sure. Thanks and take care!
I got one of these a few months ago, ended up modifying it to something closer to something I'd actually use. Added a bandana, a RAVPower 16750mAh battery with a short little USB-C cable, An actual SAK. A little tiny AM/FM radio. A cheap notebook with a little Dollar Tree pen that's maybe 2" to 2.5" tall (came in a 10 pack... little Halloween gift pack for kids. lol) ... that little 5x7 tarp you can find in the camping section connected to the outside with a carabiner, along with one of those cup style Stanley cook sets on another carabiner... and more fire starting options like a lighter and some rain proof matches. Along with some other small things like a couple of those little expandable towels, a couple of bouillon cubes and a couple of packs of instant coffee. I did remove the shovel, though I've still got it in the back of my car so I can maybe more easily dig myself out of the snow if I need to... and I took that metal whistle and added it to my regular keychain (that has a SAK Mini Champ and a short little USB cable that does USB-A/C and Lightning). Didn't spend any extra money on the additions. Just extra stuff I had laying around. I'm sure someone else who's better at this stuff than I am could've added a lot better... but oh well. hehe *Edit* I just checked and I've got an old gift card wrapped up with (around) 10 feet of Gorilla tape. And once I get 'em when I can think of it I'm gonna add an emergency blanket and an emergency poncho to stick in the pocket in the back of the thing.
Man that’s a good looking all purpose Pack and really looks like quality. I have an Ancient Rothco Backpack it reminds me of that’s still going. Great Intel my friend.
Looks pretty good. Where did you find it, Threads? Stay safe and stay cool
I ordered direct. I will post a link in the description
It's a simple thing but something I love with that pocket. Four eyes of the world unite 🥸
Awesome video mate and nice looking pack
Thank you, I really like their stuff.
Those are great looking Bags my friend and I think Tom Ford designs for Go Ruck lol… I’ve found a new appreciation for Bags and Packs and the CT looks like it may be a Plate Carrier, if you find yourself on the Southside of Chicago maybe lol I really like that. The Patch may have to go, Semper Fidelis… Old broken DAV.. lol
Really solid bags and company. Lol the patch is just one I made. That is one of my favorite patterns. However I really do like the Marine digi as well! Thanks man, take care!
@@AtwoodThreads C Tactical and Recycled Firefighter both I’ve read are just Top Tier Bags and last damn near forever. I’m still on the Fence about the MOAB 6 lol I do like that little Bag but Hazard 4 has some great stuff. My Son has a Plan B and will never part with that bag and loves it.
@@willtrax71 Recycled Firefighter has possibly outsourced now and not nearly what they were years ago. Just a heads up.
@@AtwoodThreads I remember Mystery Ranch being about the best you could get but outsourced now and owned by Anti-2A Yeti so I’m not sure what’s going on with those guys. I still have a few Eagle Packs from the early 90’s that are still going strong lol…
I think i would go with the clear bottle any day. But interesting couple oz difference. Thank you😎👌
Thanks for watching! I kept the other bottle but pretty much refuse to use it daily lol
I read you can attach this MOAB 6 to the other MOAB Bags but I can’t find a lot of Intel on that. I have the MOAB 8 i really like but the 6 on the 8 seems like putting a Hat on a Hat lol.
I am making a video about the attachment system here soon!
@@AtwoodThreads that sounds great and the 8 came with the 4 straps but I haven’t gotten another 5.11 bag yet. I really like the MOAB 6 but it may be to large to attach to the 8 and better suited for the 10 or larger. The 6 is about the same width as my 8 so it may be just perfect lol.
It always seems like "right now" is not a good time. Or I don't have the energy atm and my _______ hurts, I'll do it when I'm feeling better. Then times get worse. My health declines significantly. The opportunity was squandered.
Thanks🙏🏻
It’s not worth $30
Ottimo video potrei sapere quanti pollici è il tablet? Grazie
È un iPad mini. Circa 5,5 pollici x 8 pollici. (14x20 cm)
Amazing instructional video my Friend thank you and I would have just cut these off if I hadn’t watched your video.
The MOAB 8 is breaking in nicely and I was thinking doing some DIY 550 Heat shrink pulls for some bags maybe. I’m an Old Broken Ass DAV so I know Knots lol and 550 Cord wraps and junk from Boredom and down time piddling around but have never tried the heat shrink ideas. I know now I think I want a MOAB 6 lol unfortunately, the build quality is stellar on these Bags.
It's $19.87 on Amazon for the next 7 hours.
It's $19.87 on Amazon for the next 7 hours.
Does this mean that the sheath can come loose again if left in a car, or under direct sunlight during a hot summer day?
Depending on how it is stored, possibly. Injection molded plastics can be manipulated post injection by any heat source. Even doing this the sheath did not stay as tight as when I first did it and it is out in the heat with me at work every day. However it’s still far tighter than from the factory. I think out of direct sunlight and not in a weird position it would hold up fairly well though.
Thanks for taking time to do this video, very helpful (and entertaining!).
I got one of those recently. Noticed the clip was too high it interfered with the grip. Put a DCC clip on it. Perfect now.
I ended up making mine a neck knife.
This was a great tutorial and tips my friend and it did finally come out exactly how you described to squeeze it, the corners were tricky but the Bag is a lot lighter and it has one more useful pocket now. It also seems to sit better when carried. Thank you my friend.
can confirm, i was homeless for a couple years in undergrad in seattle and having dry socks was the most important factor for my morale. Ive also used a med kit and some paracord to repair a coolant leak on my car which saved me from a 100 mile tow once. the mechanic did not believe me when i told him i made it clear across the state without it melting since i wrapped a nitrile glove around the leak under a bandage with a bunch of paracord over the top. kind of excessive but I carry a point of care ultrasound with me now since i know how to use it for FAST trauma scans. not to mention the level 3 uhmwpe plate in my backpack since im always in a fun free zone at hospitals. OTF scalpel knife seems to be okay in my limited understanding of the law.
A good sturdy Bag is invaluable and Bellroy makes good stuff. The Old ILBE’s we had in the late 80’s early 90’s were just thick open Sacks lol but they did there Job. I do like internal pockets to keep your gear from ganging up each other. Great review my Friend.
I like bag! I got 511 LV10 Sling bag in May, because I wanted a non-tactical bag for work. I’m still breaking it in, but I’m extremely impressed with it.
I am looking at checking those out as well. They have been recommended to me but they were out of all colors except the blue one
@@AtwoodThreads I walked into the 511 shop just to look and it happened to be in stock and on sale too. I got the black because I liked it better than the blue and green colors. With this sling, I can keep my change of clothes(kept in a compression bag) and EDC stuff in the gun compartment. My work stuff, planner, and iPad in the main compartment. I keep meds and my first aid in the other. There is less working space than the Moab6, but it works perfectly for me for daily use.
@@sayeednmb That's awesome. Hopefully they restock here soon as I really want to check out the LV8. I am not a huge fan of the LV10 shoulder strap honestly. Just personal preference.
@@AtwoodThreads I totally understand about the strap. I’m still getting used to it. I would be carrying the LV8 if I didn’t need to carry my planner or IPad with me. The perfect bag is out, it’s waiting to be found!
Nice bag, and not a tactical look. Thank you for showing it to us, Threads. Stay safe and stay cool
“Hole Punch”….😂 Great video
Made in China
As with most everything now a days
I just got the MAOB 8 and it’s a fantastic little Pack you can add little packs to. Is there anyway at all to get that plastic insert in the back put easily without cutting any stitching lol I don’t carry a lot of weight and really don’t need the Panel. It’s a neat little pocket without that plastic piece. Stay safe my Friend, Semper Fidelis
Hey! I remove that plastic insert on all of them. I will do a short video on removing it. No cutting involved.
@@AtwoodThreads that would be outstanding my friend truly thank you for taking the time. This is my first 5.11 Bag but I have a few pair of there Trousers I really like and extremely comfortable.
@@willtrax71 I just uploaded a short with a quick summary of how I remove them. Hope it helps you out!
@@AtwoodThreads wow thank you and bending it I didn’t think of that thank you and I’m trying it shortly. Semper Fidelis my Friend. William Traxel
Did you have success?
Thx for the review How about the weight?Since the website doesn’t list it , it would be nice to know
I have modified mine but can get a close weight to the out of the box bag.
I was literally just about to cut the pouches off of the straps and then I found this video. This was a horrible design flaw on this pack. I don't know why they didn't just make those MOLLE pouches, this way it would've been easier to take on and off, or you could've MOLLE'd it to the bottom of the bag. Which is another thing that they could've done better on, but I'm not really gonna get into. I don't see why 5.11 didn't make a tag that gives you instructions on how to remove these straps. Thank you for this video man.
HARBOR FREIGHT came out with one. This looks better. . .
I totally agree with what you said at the beginning of the video, everyone should carry an EDC. It the same theory as a Condom, " I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it."😊
Thanks for this info, excellent review
Good eye🙌🏼
That's really not a crazy price for what you get.
Its not really. There are some useful items and some gimmicks but overall better than nothing
Phenomenal Video my friend and my “Hole Punch” rides right at 1600 on my Hip in case someone was wondering about your amazing reference. Great Video, I’m getting the 8 and Semper Fidelis my friend.
Right on! I am loving the 8 just wish the front flap pockets were still part of the line up. Maybe a 2.0 is in the works. Take Care!
Can you do a updated edc carry and edc bag load out mate just come across your channel really enjoying your videos 👍
Yes I can. I need to get some video of the new pack I have been using and can do an EDC during that. Thanks!
@@AtwoodThreads awesome brother really enjoying your videos
Did it come with those zipper pulls? The version I’m seeing doesn’t have them…
I do custom zipper pulls on pretty much all my bags right out of the box. Sorry I thought I mentioned it in the video. Sorry for the confusion.
