Hey man. Good to hear it's just not me. I guess my own expectations were too high for a couple of these places. Been watching too many YT videos from there 🤣 But it's always like that when I travel. The places I am looking most forward to disappoints and the places I have no option on surprises in a positive way. The locals were amazing and all in all I did have a great time there

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked my take on it. I didn't get the chance to visit the LCA House. Canggu was my first stop after a long plain trip and was supposed to relax there for a couple days. But I couldn't find any relaxation there 🤣 So I honestly just wanted to get away from that place 😅

Hello again 😊 So I really did enjoy parts of Bali. But at the same time I am so tired of these typical YT videos of people only showing the positives. And I do think that Bali is overrated. I have spoken to other travelers that feel the same. My next trip is going to be the Philippines 🤗 But that's not before the end of this year. I will continue making videos. But I think I am done with making normal travel videos. My next projects needs to be something more then just filming my travels. Still working on ideas. However, I see I need to learn from you on how to make better thumbnails. I find it strange that you aren't getting more views on some of your videos. But then again. RUclips is difficult to understand sometimes 😅

Don't know. I didn't know anything about Kerala. But now that I googled it I dream of going there as well. Is it good?

Sounds like it's a good chance you won't 😅 To be honest I find both Canggu and Ubud to be overated. It's definitely "not worth the hype" as we say in the RUclips travel niche. That's at least my opinion. That hotel doesn't represent the average price. And perhaps Uluwatu in general are bit more expensive. But if you want something extra it's going to cost you. Mt. Batur is absolutely worth a visit. But if you're into hiking I had an even better experience when hiking Mt. Rinjani on Lombok. That's also way much harder. Thank :) I don't understand the hype around this place either. Indonesia and Bali has so much better to offer. I do hope some nomads living there see this video and comment back. I would love to be proven wrong. I do however regret not just letting the camera keep rolling while walking the streets and getting asked for rides. I would been interesting for people to see how bad that actually is.

It's artificial and they only focus on the positives. Neglecting the negatives. There's generally just to many travel videos of people going to the same places and experiencing the same things. And it's all wonderful. I don't mind the trolls. I mostly find commenting with them entertaining. Let the trolling begin 🤣

That's actually not a bad advice. So Canggu was my first destination in Indonesia after a long flight. I didn't find the calm and relaxed atmosphere I was looking for. I didn't find or see any community of other creatives as well. And that was a bit disappointing. Then again I didn't have much time and wasn't looking that hard either. This video isn't my best work either 😅 And there is better videos from more positive experiences in the making. I did really enjoy Bali and Indonesia 👍

I totally hear you and share your thoughts and experiences. I remember Siem Reap in Cambodia was a hazzel with tuk tuk drivers been extremely pushy. But that was in a city. I was hoping a coastal "paradise" like Canggu would be more relaxed and cam. And not have you turning down grab and GoJack drivers every 10 meters you try to walk and take in the town. After being there I so regret not making a video just filming me walking the streets and turning down these taxis. To show how bad and annoying this problem it really is. Bali is a beautiful island and there is much to see and do. It's sad that things like this takes away from the overall experience of traveling there.

You have to earn it. And work for it. A little bit 😂 The worst was actually finding parking near by. My friend had to take the car and go for a drive while I enjoyed this location 😂

In deed it was. We went in the fall. This was between mid September to start of Oktober. It was good time to go. We had very little rain and the temperatures are better in spring or fall. It gets cold anyway thou 😅 As you get higher. Gorashep was freezing. Spring should be just as fine. It's probably some more people on the trail because of climbing season. But the flowers and scenery will probably be even greater to look at. Thanks for watching the video and have a great adventure on the EBC yourself. It's an epic and unforgettable journey 😊
