The Stow Rockshelter in Ohio, a botched archaeological site.

Ancient stone artifacts that are easy to find in northern Ohio
Просмотров 18 тыс.Год назад
There are ancient ground stone tools used by Native Americans all over northern Ohio. Is it because of the misidentification of certain burial mounds being of "glacial" origin? Why are there so many artifacts at ground level? Is it because these mounds are being used as sources of gravel by industry and municipalities without care or concern for history? In this video I'll explain what Native A...
Pollution & Corruption - History's Enemy in Ohio
Просмотров 613Год назад
Some folks don't want pesky archeologists digging around. Could corruption and industrial pollution be much more of a problem than we once thought? Are mobsters and politicians keeping ancient history in the Cuyahoga Valley and all of North Eastern Ohio hidden in order to cover up past crimes?
Is there evidence of a Mayan/Ohio Connection?!

Is there evidence that some of the largest and most enigmatic ancient cultures of Mesoamerica once inhabited North East Ohio? Much of the evidence is hidden from us in plain sight. To find out what's being hidden, look in places you aren't supposed to. @arthistorywithtravisleecla6343 Lecture 6 The Formative Pre-Classic: Zapotec & Teotihuacan - ruclips.net/video/rF_SyDPKarU/видео.html

PROOF that the National Parks DON'T CARE about Native history in northeast Ohio - Sagamore Creek
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.2 года назад
We hiked 4.28 miles to locate a hidden Native American archaeological site in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. What we found was hundreds of broken beer bottles and remnants of a large clam bake party. The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, public officials and the National Parks system tells us that they don't disclose the locations of many Native American sites in Northeast Ohio in order ...
Another massive Serpent effigy Mound discovered in NORTHERN Ohio
Просмотров 3,9 тыс.2 года назад
There is another massive serpent shaped effigy earthwork in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Oriented south and either unknown by archaeologist or being deliberately hidden from the public, this mound has never been studied or investigated. It can be seen from Google Maps in "terrain view" at 41°12'05.2"N 81°35'31.1"W
Hidden History of Tinkers Creek - Ancient Megalithic Builders in Ohio
Просмотров 73 тыс.2 года назад
Why do our textbooks and museums not recognize the pre-Columbus peoples of north east Ohio? Why are there so many mounds and earthworks being ignored by archaeologists? Clearly the Cuyahoga Valley National Park was once home to an ancient and massive civilization. In this video we delve into the Cuyahoga River's largest tributary, the Tinker's Creek. "The gorge" as it is known locally hosts man...

I am on the same bluff as these sites, if you need any more information let me know. I overlook Tinkers Creek, Mounds and artifacts on the residential side also that is not known since the park didnt buy the land in time.

UFO/Balls of light and some Cryptid activity have been known to the area, I have witnessed a few things myself over the years. This portion of the bluff was developed starting in the late 70s to the mid 90s. Wondering if the Museum has anything on this portion of the bluff piror to development. Where can I find the 1975 Document? I can't seem to find it online I found the 1977 doc labeled Macedonia.

I wonder myself why the earthworks are not public knowledge. Any road that crosses a creek in ky or Ohio has a hill or earthwork within a 1/8 of a mile from the creek. Alot have houses on them. Some have churches and cemtaries. They completely designed everything we see. Hills and valleys. Arrowheads were made for cutting through roots in the woods and planting crops. This would require lots of flint rock. The towns by a big creek or river have old concrete steps built into a bank leading up to the historical houses. Its all mounds and earthworks.

Some of this is ridiculous. I’ve spent a lot of time down in that gorge and see a lot of modern man’s mark in it. The stone wall is not ancient, nor are the stone fire pits along the bridal trail. With that said, I have seen old marking trees along some of the trails. To think there wasn’t any ancient peoples walking this area is also ridiculous.

Spindle whirls have a hole in them, like a donut. Theyre mounted onto a dowel so itll spin like a top to twist and wind loose fibers into a bobbin of thread. Cup stones have a depression in them and were indeed used for grinding nuts, seeds, or grains into flour-like a stationary mortar and pestil. You usually see several cups on the same stone so multiple people can work to get the job done efficiently when its harvesting season 🧐

Itza Mayas first established a capital in the Nacoochee Valley of Georgia then spread northward into Tennessee and ultimately the Ohio Valley. I am fairly certain that the Fort Ancient Culture in Ohio was the result of Chickasaws marrying Itza immigrants from Chiapas State, Mexico. I am a Creek Indian from Georgia. I was architect of the Trail of Tears Memorial in Tulsa, OK. All of my Native American DNA is from Southern Mexico. Several of Georgia's largest rivers have Itza Maya names.

Tinker´s Creek was in my back yard! I grew up there in the 50s and 60s and had no idea of ANY of this. It´s shocking that most people´s idea of the first Americans were from the old Westerns and completely ignore the eastern cultures. So glad I´m still in time to learn of all this. Thank you for your hard work

Found someone else from the east coast who believes the stones with holes drilled through were part of the grave markers used by Algonquian speaking peoples, so those may have been thrown out or washed out into the river from a burial ground.

  • @MrChristianDT

Just want you to know, I may have figured out what this is. I found a video from historians in Massachusetts about stone piles & walls constructed by Native people's. Usually, they help mark a trail, alongside signal trees, but some were also made to commemorate important people or events or to mark sacred spaces in lieu of a clear landmark. One type is a serpentine wall & another is an enclosure. They never said what serpentine walls were for, but enclosures mark sacred sites & are often paired up with other stone structures.

  • @MrChristianDT
    @MrChristianDT 9 месяцев назад

Not sure. It doesn't match the symbolism of the serpent Mound, which is an established constellation sign that goes back a long time in the EXACT same form. With it being in a line, a burial Mound seems unlikely, too. My best guess is you may have found a Whittlesey village site? They liked picking high, easily defensible positions near rivers & making earthen berm walls along the harder-to-defend boundaries of the settlement.

Cupstones are for making bifaces, all the celts that are uncountable in North America were their weapons and the one thing that absolutely everyone packed all the time, the "beaver" is probably also a weapon. Celt style hafting was common but for a long time stones were placed in living tree roots and pruned to grow over the stone as man's first real functional hafting system. Usually, those stones are not sharp as the intent was to bludgeon, not cut
