    Do you have a video about what photon version to use? im using photon pun, and tested fusion, right now we can jump to quantum, but as im using a pve multiplayer game, in mobile, what is the best option?

      It depends a bit on the type of game you are creating but it sounds like you would benefit a lot from using Photon Quantum, considering that you are targeting mobile. It is more complicated to develop for Quantum but in the end you'll get less network problems later on.

    "Quantum doesn't have lag compensation raycast", why would you need that when you have deterministic engine with input rollback? It's the same. Where you clicked is where you clicked. "With Quantum you don't need to manage servers" With Fusion you also don't need to manage servers either. The pricing is the same for both, and it's per peak ccu.

      Well actually you'll need to take compensation into account even for Quantum. However you can implement lag compensation in Quantum also. Check this out from Erick ruclips.net/video/AgxRyNRePpM/видео.html Well yes you can run Fusion in either shared or hosted mode but they both suffer risk of cheating, challenges with physics (shared mode), host dropping off etc. But with Quantum you'll get the benefit of using a server without having to manage servers like you would in Fusion.

      If the client runs its own version of the simulation you would probably get a lot of jitter and other problems. You can try it though and see if the results are ok.

    Anyone else getting an error when setting the emission rate? NullReferenceException: Do not create your own module instances, get them from a ParticleSystem instance UnityEngine.ParticleSystem+EmissionModule.set_rateOverTimeMultiplier

      You'll need to ensure that the particle system is on the same game object as the WheelParticleHandler script. Otherwise you can use public ParticleSystem particleSystemSmoke; instead of getting it with Getcomponent.

      You are welcome! You'd need to travel quite far before that happens but I'd imagine that it would flip and become negative. If you have extremely long distance covered by a player then you can handle this by moving the world to zero again periodically.

    what confuses me is that the windows appear to stick out from the walls in Blender and Unity when in the game they stick into the walls?

      That is probably just how blender vs unity handles triangles. Either way the windows needs special handling to make them appear correct like they do in the game.

      Hi! I think you might be doing something a bit more complicated than it should. You can just use regular UI interaction to move between buttons using a xbox controller.

      @@random_precision_software I'm not really sure why you would go down that route. You usually just have regular button interaction with the thumbstick and highlight and select buttons in the regular way. But if you want to hijack stuff then I guess you'll need to plug into the event system and do some manual things there :D

      Could be due to how light hits the edge of your road pieces or a tiny gap in the road. You can try to extend the road a bit in the Y direction and see if that improves things.

    Is it possible to migrate host while current host is still active like we can do for Masterclient in PUN 2?

      I don't think that is possible to trigger host migration unless the host disconnects.

    Hello, at 10:32 when I press play, my sphere is not moving at all. I have the exact same scene and entities as you. But can't figure out why. PhysicsBody3D also enabled. I am using quantum 3

      I've done a video about Quickplay for Quantum which works in the same way as Photon Fusion when it comes to this. It can easily be extended with more matchmaking parameters. Check it out ruclips.net/video/womQ9Ygnmo4/видео.html

    Hey! thanks for the tutorials great start, Do you have anything planned for handling projectiles without making them network objects? or do you think quantum would be a better choice for games with projectiles > Hitscan

    As of now I am using photon pun 2 for my RPG and its working as expected however the pain in the ass here is the enemy bots if the master client disconnects all of them will stop functioning even if the masterclient is in the background still the bots stop working also. Im also thinking of transferring to fusion. Do I still encounter it? I just wanted a Not Host Dependent Enemy AI that also syncs

      In Photon Fusion the new host can take over the handling of the AI if the old host disconnects.

    Thank you. I have a problem with the synchronization of Outfit between host and clients in clients' screen after upgrade to Photon fusion 2.0. this issue happened after I load to World1 scene from Ready Scene. Please help me

    Amazing but problem is when host player leave the game then Bots will also remove because after leaving the game all the host data will be destroyed

      Thanks 🙏 Nothing gets automatically destroyed by Photon Fusion however the code does destroy the bots when host migration is triggered. You can adjust the code so that bots are not destroyed when host migration happens.
