I've always used the Bernat Plush Big to make Pillow Cozies using your pattern! I love love love how they work up but it's super stiff (specifically the solid colours, the varigated ones are slightly thinner and softer) and my hands ache when I make them so I'm happy to know there's a dupe!! Fingers crossed I can find this yarn in Canada!! I get so many compliments on my cozies at markets and stuff and people think it's such a genius idea (which it is, thank you!!)!

Hello! I'm very novice at crocheting and haven't tried a pattern like this before, I've made several attempts but it always bunches up and folds in on itself by row 3 or 4, I've tried both cotton and acrylic yarn and a variety of hook sizes, I tend to have tight tension so that may be the issue but if anyone has any advice to fix this issue I'd be super grateful!! I really want to make this top 😁

with the smaller sizes, you can always use a smaller hook or single crochet instead of double :)

I noticed my top had some extra fabric between star spikes, i began decreasing by 5 instead of 3, as well as crocheting 4 instead of 3 in the chain two spot every other row Doing this will get rid of the extra bulk !

Hey if you use adobe premiere pro to edit your videos you can turn on your AC and use a system within premiere pro to eliminate background noise! Not sure how well it works with ur environment but it works great for me at work! Would be happy to run you through it via email or whatever if you need but dont melt for us!!
