My content features "craft with me" videos, journal flip-throughs, product highlights, and other topics pertaining to my current interests. I desire to show how you can express your faith in your everyday crafting. This channel's goal is to promote a community of people developing friendships, exchanging ideas & supporting each other in an environment of mutual kindness & respect. Hopefully some of my ideas will spark a creative idea for you.
I sell my finished journals on Ko-fi (moved from Etsy), sometimes offering other items too.

This is an opportunity to get some feedback from all of you...

Pesky Paper Scraps Get Revamped! Decluttering My Craft Room, Ep 6 #declutter #paperscraps
Просмотров 5736 месяцев назад
Today I'm trying to solve the conundrum of condensing, sorting and reorganizing my paper scraps. I've got them stashed in lots of places and piles. How can I best group these papers so that I can find what I want and eventually use them up? Maybe using them up should not be the goal. It took me several times of going through my paper pieces (happily, it's mostly edited out), discarding the scra...

Whatching it again! I amassed a big dinosaur stash over the years and I find your journal incredibly inspiring… I was never a big dinosaur fan as a child but I definitely loved archeology… I have lots of material about that too… You had so many cool ideas for decoration!
Welcome back Marci and congratulations and I had a six sense that's what was happening. So exciting to be a Nana I'm so happy for you all. Sending lot of hugs and many blessing to come to you and the family. 🤗Big hugs💞
I just adore these declutters thanks so much for your time
Good video ❤😊
That was super inspiring and honest. I saw your heart brought me to tears and I'm proud of you. Enjoy being a grand Nana.
Heehee!! I knew why you were downsizing and your grand baby is ADORABLE!!! ❤❤ And, your new front door is very pretty! Good points and lots of real learning about yourself happening! That’s a good thing!! Take your time and enjoy being Nana! We’ll be here whatever you decide to do with your channel!! Love you friend! See you again soon!! ❤
Congratulations on being a Nana! That's wonderful! It was good to see and hear you today. I'll watch your channel in whatever time frame you decide on. I've almost finished all of my decluttering too...only two more areas when it gets cooler here if it ever does! I'm not moving as I planned. The sale of my house fell apart so I took it as a sign from the Lord that I'm supposed to stay here. It's hard financially but with God's help I'll make it! Again...good seeing you and do what you can when you can!♥
Being a Nana is the best! Enjoy the moments. Mine are 6 and 8 now. As you know the time flies. Congrats and I'm glad to see you back when you can. 💚
You pointing out important things I needed to hear. Thank you❤
Congratulations friend. How exciting! ❤ it’s great to see you back.
It takes many passes to get to the goal! I’m about to start my 3rd pass through my craft room and this was great inspiration! ❤
I'm glad this video was helpful! Yes, I'm looking around again eyeballing more that can go....
Where do you get the hat pin for glue?
Hi Jonna! I looked on Etsy and searched for "glue bottle dangle" or similar and found one I liked. Thanks for asking!
Suzanne 7225, I am new also. Been watching all the videos I can. I do have an advantage, I save everything, always think I can do something some time. Just organizing it. Meantime I pick up or ask for item that I think I can use, such as wrapping for subs, paper bags for bagels, placemats. Items everywhere. Good luck with your new hobby.
Hi Annie, thanks so much for subbing! One of the best things about making junk journals is that you can find supplies just about everywhere. I think that makes it so fun! TFW!
Thank you Marci! You do an amazing work all the time! ❤
Thank you so much, Redet - you're sweet!
It has been this hot around here lots of time and very cold too! As for the fire they use to slash burn and keep the ground floor clean the don't do that anymore, so we get more fires like California every year now! None of this has to do with climate change! It called secular weather witch we have had from the beginning of time!
That's interesting to know! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Love your tags. I love Gail Agustenella. She is one of my faviorite junk journal videos. I call that buildup before the finishing Brain storming
Aww, thank you! I've learned a lot from watching Gayle's videos!
Ive watched that series. I watched the whole thing.
👍💖
No. Content for over 5 mins ????
I'm not sure what this means. Was there a dead spot in the video? There wasn't one when I uploaded it, so I'll have to rewatch and see what's up. If so, thank you for alerting me. 😊💖
Ok, I’ve rewatched the video and found no dead time. My only guess is that maybe there was a glitch with the device you were using? I hope you can take the time to try watching again. Thanks for stopping by. 😃
I stopped watching at 5minutes so I’m not sure if there was anything inspiring or helpful in the rest of the video. There were no dead spots and there wasn’t any usable content in the first 5 minutes. Maybe being aware of the focus and intent of your video may be of help to you. Your voice is warm and friendly and I wish you well.
Ah, got it. Thanks for the tips. 😃
exactly what i was looking for . thanks! ❤
Glad I could help! 💕
@@CreatorsCall bought a journal book in wonderful condition for $18 with the intention of making a junk journal. however, i can’t bring myself to tear it. i’ll be on the lookout for another one.
Everything you made turned out amazing, great use of items sent to you. Thanks for sharing, big hugs! 🤗💕
💕💕💕
This is such a beautiful thing you did Marci 🥰💕
Thanks, Celeste! I'm glad you're enjoying re-watching some of these older videos. 💕
Hugs and blessing Marci, hope your week is going good 🤗💕
Same to you, Celeste. Thanks for watching! 💕💕
What a great video! Fun, instructive, and welcoming. After watching it, I was inspired to make my own (small) batch of bases.
Oh, wow, that's great! Thank you for ;our kind words and for watching. 💕
I actually like the one with the grill marked back. I think it looks good. Even crooked I enjoyed your video. Than you.
It looked really cool, didn't it? I like how it turned out too. Thanks for watching! 💕💕
❤❤❤
💕💕💕
You could use eyelets to fasten them together and then something like a clip or a ribbon could be added to them.
That would be so cute! Thanks for the suggestion. 😊💖
Glad your enjoying your time off. Been creating mixed media pieces, sewing and the odd mini journal spreads. Our favourite is sketching out side and waking taking a picnic ❤😊❤😊
That sounds lovely. 😊💖
This heat is ridiculous! 🥵 Enjoy your time off! I am enjoying my new granddaughter.
Congratulations! 😊💖
Good to see you feel better 💜 This week I was a real heroine, first I spontaneously helpt my neighbors sheep lamb in the middle of the night (she and twins survived, two little lambs unfortunately didn’t. But if I hadn’t learned how to midwife for sheep via RUclips, all five of them would have gone 😖), and the next day we had a surprise thunderstorm that made our street a river and flooded the whole neighborhood for hours. I was catching things and helping mom and her kids and two sweet elder ladies to cross the street without falling or drowning. I hope the rest of the week will be calmer 😅
Wow, I hope you have a quieter week too. You were the heroine for so many people last week. I'm sure they are all so grateful for you. 😊💖
@@CreatorsCall Absolutely! That was enough heroism for the rest of the year 😅
Hi Marci💕 Glad all is well, take good care! 🤗 Big hugs
😊💖
I took 4 medium sized moving boxes to our local donation center last week ALL FROM MY CRAFT ROOM!! 😱 🤦🏻♀️ 😂😂
Whaaat? That's crazy! Good for you! 😊💖
Nice to hear from you! Always good to take a break. Florida was hot but cooled to high 80s.
😊💖
Good to hear from you and see you! It's very hot here in Florida on the east coast too. I'm glad the tropical storm left us alone! I'm still decluttering and trying to get ready to move. I've been in my house for 35 years so it's a real job. My living room is full of donations and I need to load my car on Friday...another hot job! I haven't tackled my sheds yet...too hot! I'm glad you were able to spend time with your daughter and help her too!🌞💖
😊💖
It’s good to hear from you, and glad you are resting and recuperating. I’m going to look at some of your old videos. We’ve had unusual heat in the Denver area, too. Looking forward to a cool off for a few days!
😊💖
That weather is just crazy! The smoke from forest fires is the worst! Glad you got to see the kids! Sorry you got sick!
It's a bad combination all around. I think the heat and smoke probably contributed to my getting sick. TFW, Carol! 💖
@@CreatorsCall i wouldn't be surprised
I watched your video on using hinges to make a signature and it wasn’t at all what I expected. I think I was expecting a tab binding. I have never seen nor heard of this method. I am excited to have it as a resource for future journals. Thank you for sharing. I hope you are able to complete your projects.💜🐞
Thanks, Ila! It's an oldie but a goodie! 😊💖
This is such a thoughtful , beautiful journal! Thanks for your great videos! Hugs🌸
Thank you so much, Maureen! I appreciate you watching and commenting. I'm excited to finally be able to give it to her next week! Big hugs right back! 😊💖
I heard about the Renovation Hardware catalogs so ordered the three they have now. There are so any things in those pages you can use. So that has me looking for other catalogs that I can use. I love free stuff.
Me too! Thanks for watching! 💖
Happy Friday Marci 💕
Thank you, Celeste and Happy Friday to you too! 🤗
Thanks for showing this again Marci, love all the friends that pitched in to help that is so special. It was cooling seeing stuff I made a year ago, lol. "We forget" Hope all is well, take good care! 🤗 Big hugs 💕
I'm really grateful that I have a video record on YT of all the projects I've made. I enjoy going back to review them from time to time. It was a special project and so many people (including you) pitched in to contribute. Thanks for re-watching! 💕
Oh my goodness a throw back video, love it. Okay back to watching 😍
Hope you enjoyed it! 💕
Coloring books are good. The adult ones have pretty pictures and you or the recipient can color it. Old sewing patterns are good to. Travel brochures you pick up on vacation are good. Great ideas in your video.
Thank you! Great ideas, thanks for watching! 💖
This is awesome. I will check out your other videos to see how they are used. I’m not new to scrapbooking and journaling but am trying to up my game!
Careful, it's a slippery slope... that's how I ended up here! 😉 JK, glad you enjoyed the video and welcome to the world of junk journals (and my channel)! ☺💖
Sometimes you can get paper from those huge bins sitting outside a store or building
Good idea, thanks for watching! 💖
Weather plays a part when making divinity, meringue, and some candy.
So true! Thanks for watching! 💖
You have no idea how much this helps motivate me. Because I pretty much have the same thing a little bit less but I like how you talk through it because it helps me reevaluate and look at things differently as well very helpful very helpful thank thank thank you thank you.❤❤❤
I'm so glad I could help! You've got this!
Hi, I’m new to your channel, love all your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, I'm glad you're here! 😊
Just came across your channel and enjoyed this video! Your recipe cards look like ones I got years ago and finally took to the thrift store about six years ago, never occurred to me to reuse them. Thankfully. I hoard enough junk paper as it is!! I thought this past weekend how useful our printed church programs would be! They changed recently to double-sided half sheets of light card. I went around the pews picking up programs people left. Of course, I picked up trash and straightened the hymnals and Bibles as I went because that’s how I do things. (Hope the deacons were grateful I did their job!!) I have more trouble with glue than anything else in crafting-any kind of crafting. But I’ve had my Creative Memories corner rounder for more than 20 years, and it’s still doing well! Oh, my mother (BS in home Economics) always said to have the right needles for sewing, especially with your machine. If you sew on paper, only use those needles for paper and be prepared to get new (cheap) ones often. That’s just like we don’t use our fabric scissors for paper, right?!!
I've saved many a church program myself for this very reason! I'm sure the deacons were very happy for your help. 😊 Have fun creating! 💖
WOW! So easy! Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome, thanks for watching! 💖
Yes recipe binders like baseball and coin books...binders!!!😮😢
These look same as my granny's cookbooks....great great granma!!!
