Man I miss watching Robinson as a Yankee. I enjoyed it every single day they’d play. My favorite 2nd baseman of all time. Dude makes it look so effortless and cool. You never seem him put aggression on a throw to first, it’s always a flip. But no matter how easy he made it look, that ball was heated if he needed it to be. Incredible arm strength to be able to do that. It really bummed me out to see him go to Seattle, but now he’s winning MVP’s in Mexico’s league so that makes me happy for the guy. There is NOTHING more ridiculous in sports than both bullpens running in at full speed a half mile, just to turn around and walk back a half mile 2 minutes later when absolutely nothing happens. MLB needs to institute a rule where both bullpens meet in center field and have their own bullpen "brawl". Otherwise, keep the bullpens, along with all of the other players bedsides the combatants on the bench, a la the NHL. Maybe then, we'd actually get a decent fight occasionally.

Uceta was originally banished for three games, but had that punishment reduced to two ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Phillies. Uceta was subsequently ejected from the game, with the Rays inserting fellow reliever Hunter Bigge in his place. On Wednesday, Major League Baseball suspended Uceta and fined him an undisclosed amount. Rays manager Kevin Cash was suspended for one game and also issued an undisclosed fine.
