Oh heeell naw
What in the heck is this
Can we get the update lol
Wtf
Great job! Thanks for sharing it ❤. Love your “Can Do” attitude
I think a weatherproof trim at the bottom to match the molding at the top would be nice as well 😊
That is not a bad idea, thanks for your input.
Don't listen to the hater, you did a great job and that shed will outlast that water heater and be more resistant to shearing forces like wind than a flimsy tin shed.
Thank you, I agree with you.
Why didn't you just put foam in the water heater shed instead of tearing down what is presumably a more robust and longer lasting than wood ,osb at that. I can not fathom compromising the integrity of any portion of my homes infrastructure in pursuit of audio comfort.
I appreciate your input. the metal water shed was not only loud (with wind and rain), but also I found it pretty flimsy compared to the one I built. However, the foam idea doesn't sound bad, I didn't think about that.
Nicely done, and it looks a lot better too.
Yay I no now
These monstrosities belong in pubs and clubs. Not people’s houses.
I mean.. most of the time, one replaces old fans because the motors and bearings are wearing out.
Damn that looks way worse you should just stop making cool things look basic and shitty
Before was better
I know right! These videos on here keep getting dumber and dumber. They really need to ban tik tok already and people get real jobs.
allot easier way to do it than this but for a DIYer it works
Perfect. No sanding required.
Finally someone that fixes it the proper way, thank you sir
Wow, you are right on time. I was looking for a way to update my front porch. Thank you so much!
You're welcome 😊
Super
Thanks
That looks fantastic! I was wondering for a minute how the blades would end up looking, but they ended up awesome!

Eres una gran mujer , muy trabajadora 🙏
Do these Sun-Tek skylights have stickers on them anywhere that show the pressure ratings, model number, etc?
I don't recall any sticker, however I've included the link in the description box.
Question: why is the concrete necessary? Can you not just put the panel on the porch floor?
The reason I build a block of concrete was to avoid wetting the wood when I water pressure the patio floor. In general is best to avoid water from wood for several reason like water damage, mold and mildew, decay and rot, etc. and because I'm in California I really don't have to worry about rain. If that's your case I would recommend to have a barrier, a thin plastic foam sheet called “sill seal”, between concrete and wood. 😉
I needed this! Thank you for sharing!!
Glad it was helpful!😀
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Nice😍
Nice work! Beautiful job with great instructions
This is great! Dumb question.. did you paint both sides of blade?
Hi Cry Las, that is not a dumb question... in fact I had to go up there and check, and yes I did paint the back white. 😊
Looks great.
Im glad you liked it, thank you.
came out nice good job
Thank you and thank you for your comment.
I was looking for just this kind of video cause I too have the metal column. I will use PVC instead since it's more humid in my area. Thank you!!
PVC does not sound bad, I think anything that works to cover those columns would be better. Thanks for your sharing, I would love to see the before and after.
hi, did you find rectangle PVC?
@@RelentlesslyPerfect I found a couple companies that sell the columns or you could buy the longer PVC sheets and cut it yourself. In my case, I decided to just paint the columns black. Made it pop more with the background.
this is on my todo list
How much was the jadu?
Around 50k back in 2018, with me doing some of the work instead of hiring.
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Loved it ❤
Thank you Vania and Thank you for your comment.
So beautiful! One may not be able to afford new things. Paint is a great option! I love it💓💖💓
You are totally right! Appreciate your comment.
Thanks a bunch! I really needed your step by step! ❤
Bravo madame excellente job et bonne santé à toute la famille
Merci Farid, J'apprécie vraiment vos mots. Bonne santé à toi et ta famille également.
Okkkkkkkkkk nice
We put in similar flooring and loved the transformation. Great job!
I loved the way the brighter tones and the floors made my place look modern and peaceful. Thanks for your comment.
I want to do this but with a more waterproof material. I live where it’s very wet and the rain comes in right where I would need to cover the posts. Would Pvc work?
Hi Barb, Absolutely! If you live in a more humid or wet place, I would definitely recommend to go with PVC, composite, or any other waterproof material.
Great job! I’m considering doing the same for the lightly painted patio roof. Did you use D41 asphalt primer as suggested on the plywood or base sheet? Did you use additional adhesive for the Liberty SA cap sheet around flashing and joints? Does the cap sheet stick to the base sheet pretty well after 2 years? Thanks!
Hi Brian, I didn't use additional adhesive. I nailed the Felt Underlayment onto the plywood, and used the Liberty Felt cap sheet self-adhesive (no additional adhesive). Just make sure you lay it down completely flat and overtime the sun will active the adhesive. On some of the corners we added some Henry (wet patch) and so far it's been 1½ years and everything looks good.
Great transformation. This had fantastic results to your patio. How many gallons of paint was needed to complete the project? Thanks
Hi Nicole, Thanks for your comment. Regarding the paint, I always have paint from previous projects, however, after giving the rafters 2 layers of paint, I believe I used approximate 2 gallons.
