I've been camping for decades and I still stock up on dollar tree stuff. No need for expensive stuff when it's only gonna be used a few times a year anyway.

Think about taking water shoes for beach use. Thin and light to wear they keep your feet protected from sharp rocks etc.

You should always have TP with you no matter where you go. You can never be sure the facility will have the necessary

I am an avid camper and blog about hacks, tips, and tricks to make camping easier and the eggs in the bottle has been my most popular hack. Also, using disposable items may be easier because you won't have dishes to wash but I wish people would think more about the impact those items have on our environment. Be earth friendly, stop using disposables. Also, the egg in the bottle trick, some people use water bottles but I like what you got. I use an empty coffee mate bottle and a funnel, that way you can break the eggs directly into the bottle and not have to dirty an extra bowl.

If I was a jerk' I’d say... if “I DGAF” was a person that said “IDC, it’s disposable”.... I’d say that, but I’m not. I’d say, please try to use reusable items and try to just think about it more ahead of time and use less...we are passing this earth on to our children. It might be a tiny bit more mental preparation for us but our kids will see that. Especially if we stress the fact that it takes an insane amount of unnatural and damaging resources to get that all on Dollar Tree store shelves. Most think think that magic gets everything in stores.not true. We can raise our families to respect the grounds/land that we live on.

For a pot, I got a oil drain pan at Walmart for about $10.00. It has a pour spout already. I took an 8 and a half inch paper plate and marked a circle on the oil drain pan and took a zig saw and cut out the circle. I took a file and knocked off the burrs. Lined the hole with a plastic bag or even double bag it. Throw bag in trash after use. I store baby wipes, bags and TP in the hole that I cut out. It worked great.

A new pump up weed and bug sprayer painted black works great for a shower. Velcro to secure a door on the shower curtain works great too

If you ever have to clean anything with pee on it, mix about a tablespoon of baking soda into a cup of hydrogen peroxide and pour mixture on spot to be cleaned. Leave it to soak for a little bit and wash/clean with a rag and clean water. The stain lifts out and the smell goes away. If its something like clothing or bedsheets, you can just wash like normal in the washing machine. I found this out last year to clean a stained mattress and it worked. It also works well with cat pee (my cats are jerks sometimes).

Ha ha this was surprisingly fun to watch! I’ve also watched a lot of the other vids like this but yours was so casual/real and funny without trying to be. And your voice didn’t drive me nuts like so many others do. 🤣 The first-aid stuff is a good idea! For under $10 you got everything you need and it’ll last for a couple of years easily. We’re doing our first minivan camping this summer after a few years overseas-can’t wait to try some of these out! I’d love to know if you did the hula hoop shower thing and if the wind cooperated 😬

@@TheSweatyTravelingMom that’s amazing! Learning and growing is part of nature, having an audience puts you in a very difficult position. You are seen as “influential” in the type of content you expose to the masses. I think it is always important to remind everyone how we can change our views. Like on great you tuber said “ you can not do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good you can do” 😜

@@betsygamez6493 we always do the best we can! It’s easy to forget the youtubers and influencers are real people and will always have flaws and make mistakes. And what’s available publicly is only a snapshot of life. We lead with kindness and let that be our guiding force. While we try to do everything we can, we will still always likely do something wrong in someone’s eyes so we ask that our audiences remember we are real people trying to function in a difficult world.

All the campgrounds in New England have rules against burning trash and emptying Soapy water onto the ground. In NH You are not supposed to even empty clear water onto the ground. The law is to prevent contamination. Outdoor showers are not allowed. I am not saying people follow all the rules, but you could get in trouble for doing some of the things you planned.

    That's glamping not camping.
Go completely primative without electricity or water.
Now that's camping out in the middle of nowhere.
Bring your own water and use solar power to charge flashlighs, led bug lights stuff like that.
