I have two things I want to tell you. At first, I'm poor at English, so please excuse my mistakes. Second, the name of this pen is different from that
Sold in Japan. The Japanese name is "Tradio Pulaman "! And this pens are sold as this English name in Japan. The origin of "Pulaman " is a Japanese word, "PLASTIC MANNENHITSU". Of course, PLASTIC is English, but MANNENHITSU is Japanese. It means Fountain Pen in English.
I guess this Japanese pen is same as what you introduced in this video, except the name. I also think this pen is very good and fascinating.
By the way, this video is quite good. I became your fan. Thank you for reading.
I definitely loved this review and I will search for a store to buy this awesome pen from. I would really like to see a review of the Parker Vector rollerball pen. Happy holidays Stephen. May your loved ones have a great holiday too.
Stephen, I just want to say that you are a stand up guy (as we say in America). I've been watching a bunch of your old videos and I appreciate how you give impartial information, then you state your opinion in a way that acknowledges that others may disagree. You seem to have a good grasp of critical thinking which is lacking in so many of us these days. On a different note, I would love to see some "how do you like me now" videos about inks. I know you have said that you used to use J Herbin and now you rarely use them.. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that and other inks.
Thank you! I like the How do you like me now idea on inks. a good project for 2016.
+sbrebrown Great work as always Stephen. A question about ink: do you recommend shaking ink bottles before use if they have been sitting unused for a few months? Thanks, and best wishes for the holiday season to you and Azizah.
+Chris Staples I know there are people who do that, but I'm not one of them. Unless you're using a shimmering ink, I wouldn't bother. Happy holidays to you too.
These are availble as proper fountain pens as well. "Pentel Tradio Leather Füllfederhalter TRF93" - available on an auction site near you. No affiliation etc. etc. Never owned the thing, but a leather covered pen for less than 20 euros is tempting.
There is actually a fountain pen version of this pen. It's inexpensive, pretty smooth with a bit of feedback(like sailor pens) and standard international cartridge friendly. You should definitely try it.
Any chance you could write down its name?
Thanks for the review. The nib looks like it's some kind of fibrous material. Is it? Perhaps you could persuade the Professor to use this for a Drawing with the Professor episode soon?
Thanks for the review, looks like a cool pen :)
OOOH the agony, what's next? A ballpoint?
love your videos :)

José Ignacio Silva THANK YOU, GOOD SIR.
1 view but 3 comments... RUclips you are failing us!
Great review as always :D
I get more variation from my Parker vector :D
Hi! you know how can I refill my pental tradio stylo?
Ninfandya You change the cartridge.
I cant open it
Ninfandya The refill may include a whole new section, I don't know.
I think I know what you mean. I wanted to do the same thing but you can't, as far as I can tell. There is the body of the pen and when you unscrew it, you are left with the nib, section and cartridge part. It is this part that they call a "refill". The new refill you have to purchase comes with a whole new nib, section and cartridge with ink in it. The only thing you reuse is the outside body of the pen and the cap. I like this pen but I wish you could refill it with your own personal choice of ink. I know this reply is one year past when you wrote your question, but I hope you receive this message and that it is helpful. :)
Hoboy! Pentecostal pens, now that's the best spellchop I've made in some time. Obviously, I meant Pentel.
I definitely enjoyed that one :-).
any tips on how to improve my handwriting to match or come close to yours.

Can you do a perfect ink removal from hands in under a minute?
+Tina C Warm water lots of soap and a lot of scrubbing with a toothbrush or something similar. Do not use the toothbrush that you used to clean your hands with to brush your teeth.
Do you know if the ink is archival?
I highly doubt it, given the low cost of the pen
I personally dislike these pens. Eighty percent disposable, dry, un-sharp and cheaply light. Other than that they're swell. Pentecostal brush pens are slightly better and Kuratake are better still. Give me a cheap Chinese pen any day.
How flexible is the tip on the pentel? ( your typo made me shudder, one of my sisters used to be Pentecostal.)
+Dee Dee. Not quite as flexible but the chief problem is, being artificial fiber, it does not feed ink as well. It is ok, but the Kuratake brush pen is better because it is sable.
+James Jacocks I've not known many Pentecostals to be all that flexible either. :)
+James Jacocks thanks for answering! I appreciate the information.
