Yes we don't just sit and foam about the trains moving. We assist whenever we need for the train crews. When I was filming PN 5342 switching in Lansdale I found 4 Regional rail destination boards just laying on the tracks. Normally people would take em and keep them but I decided to give them to the next passing SEPTA train.
8:34 I've seen worse. When I was in Italy, the train was approaching when a theif was being chased by the police. The thief ran down the track head on to the upcoming train. He shifted aside from the track and left the police just watching. Nobody was hurt, but the thief got away.
man you get a lot more trains in philly than you do in bradenton. its probably because I live on the very last mile post on the a line we get one Tropicana in bound every day and an outbound every day except for Tuesday and Thursday.
I love trains and also on roblox I found a game called Septa Lansdale/ Doylestown line simulator based on this exact line in this video which is awesome 😊👍👏
Yes that's 8212 the last operational C39-8 in operation. Sadly she hasn't been doing much due to falling out of favor of the crews for morning job PN L160 and the last time I heard her run was on a night run.
Thunderbolt 1000 Siren Productions well they weren’t weird it’s just like what we’re all those other short line railroads doing there? Is that a yard there?
5:33 to be perfectly fair SEPTA doesn't usually use that platform for arrivals. They should have realized it was a stupid idea. I think Lansdale is the only station that is from the when the Reading was the Philadelphia and Reading.
2:36 They sound just like NJ Transit rolling stock when going over a switch.
4:53 Good on Trainfan5202, that is really admirable as a railfan to ensure the safety and timeliness for the trains we film and watch; great catch
