No, most comedians working the circuit use old stuff all the time. Full shows will not repeat stuff (the beefs song changes) but for tv stuff, circuit gigs etc he and other comedians will repeat material lots. Stewart Lee Richard Herring are good examples of people you could never call hacks that have done it often. Pappy's for example when touring usually do their 1 hourish Edinburgh show in the second half and in the first half do a greatest hits routine doing all their favorite sketches.

Comedians reuse material for years. You just dont hear it as much because when they try to do fresh material when they are on a recorded show.
