Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! All the other videos didn’t break down the scorecards enough for me especially with already have metrics I needed to create a history of metrics we already have.

I just started using the scorecard recently and when you go to connect to the data I no longer see the ability to select 'Track all data in this time series' or 'Track this data point'. Did the updated version remove this or place it somewhere else?

Did you find an answer to this anywhere, I have the same question?

Thanks for the video. How can we keep slicer interactivity with the metrics. For my situation I have 10 Metrics and 5 slicer on my report page and client needs to have an email trigger if we see a discrepancy of + or - 30% of value change.
This works fine if we connect to a data and select a value but it is not dynamic since client uses slicers and the filtered value doesnot have a metric created since this creates n number of possibilities. Is there anything which we can do?

Very nice video! I just have a question. I have a Metric which has 4 status rules, and each one has 2 conditions. Is it possible to copy and paste these rules? I need a Metric for different employees in my department, so creating those rules manually takes me a lot of time.
    Thanks!

      Hi Jhonn,
I had a look around and I can't find anything obvious to do this either. It looks like you can copy an entire scorecard but not a metric, which is a pity.
I also looked in Power Automate to see if it was possible there. You can create and update metrics but there isn't an option to add rules that drive the status, just the option to set the initial status with the create metric or update the status with the update metric action.
This means that in theory, you could create a Power Automate flow and use a condition within that flow to hold the logic that sets the status rules for your metrics.
If each metric in a scorecard is evaluated against the same criteria you would then have to get all the metrics in the scorecard (there is a Power Automate action to do this), cycle through each one and compares the metric current value against the conditions, probably using a switch or nested IF statement, then set the status if it passes or fails the criteria.
Set the flow to run every day or whatever period make sense.
It might be worth considering this if the conditions change or you have 100s of employees you want to track, it depends on the size of your department.
It's an interesting video idea, but I'll probably hold off creating one until the latest batch of updates to Metrics has been made, see this link powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-goals-is-now-metrics-and-is-moving-to-ga/ as this might include the ability to duplicate metrics.
      Cheers,
      Jason
