    you reminded me that it is not all about fishing.... it's also the time we need for our selves.... this limited time that we all talk about, great work.

      +JOhnny boy You could try a fly tying material called Sili Skin. You can probably find it at your local Bass Pro or similar.

    Excellent work, and an excellent finished lure - but...I can and do, achieve the same result with a 99c chinese lure!
    Rigging a cheap lure with an assist hook and sparkleflash has the same result, and I can spend more time on the water with it, than fooling around at home.
    I do understand the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into the creation, but I'd rather be fishing than fiddling!

      I agree, but I want to add one thing. Catching a fish with a lure that you, yourself has made beats anything else. I can buy $8 rapala dt4's or strike king 1.5's for $6 but I much rather fish a friends $20 custom painted ones. Its much for satisfying catching it on something that you know time and effort has gone into making it perfect. Not some machine that pumps out thousands per hour.

      I understand where you're coming from, but my comments were aimed at the actual time and energy used in constructing a lure like this.Yes, I love using works of art as much as anyone, but with the limited time I have for actual fishing - well, I'd rather spend it fishing than tinkering.

    Is it for salt water or fresh water??

    • @catchrelease9934
      @catchrelease9934  9 лет назад +1

      TheRibo64it Thanks for watching and subscribing too, it works both in salt water and fresh water, you can change the assist hooks to a no rust kind of hook and it can be used in both salt and fresh water.

    It's just "FISH" not fishes. Plural Fish is the correct spelling for more than one. I caught 4 fish! Not 4 fishes.

    Ill release alright.release to the grease.look dude,some of us eat what we catch.not like i left a hundred fish rotting on the shore.you may like stale fish from a store,but ill take mine freash thank you

    • @theunluckyfisherman4845
      @theunluckyfisherman4845 8 лет назад +2

      Dunno why you're so mad. Catch and release saves fisheries. No ones saying you can't eat any, it's just good practice to not keep absolutely everything all the time. I catch and release all the time, and i still enjoy eating fish once in a while. I'll keep my limit when i want to, that's why there is a limit.

    No offense but you say " catch and release the fishes " doesn't make me want to do that considering fishes isn't a word

      +Spunk Man fishes is a term used to describe multiple species of fish. So, it is a word lol
