Jordan BURROUGHS 🇺🇸 and Aniuar GEDUEV (RWF) entered the 2015 World Championships in Las Vegas, USA, ranked top-two in the world at 74kg. They met in the semifinals, with a shot to take on PUREVJAV Unurbat 🇲🇳 in the gold-medal match.
Burroughs led early, but with 90 seconds left, Geduev snagged his first take takedown and grabbed the 2-2 lead on criteria. But in normal Burroughs fashion, the American great relied on his world-famous double leg to steal the lead and punch his ticket to a third world finals.

Барроуз обычный борец и плакса. Нынешний его противник в красном (Аниуар Гедуев) гораздо лучший борец и эффектнее. До Джордана ему далеко, от того что прыгает высоко и занимается с канатами - ему не помогло в Рио на олимпийских играх против того же Гедуева

Jordan’s been destroying Russians in wrestling for years. Multiple time world champion. The only time Geduev did something impressive against Jordan was in the 2020 Olympics, and that wasn’t even impressive hahahah.

Never saw Burroughs run away and avoid action as much as the last 20 seconds of this match. I think he should have been cautioned.
+John O'Cauley The ref can't give a pasiv warning len there 0:20 sec left just think about it the shot clock means that he has to score in 30 sec .Their less than 20 sec to da end i ven if he dose get put on tha shot cloke ther will be no time left to give the poin to Geduev
i've seen referees give a caution point without going to the shot clock when there is outright fleeing. This is what should happen in situations such as this to not make a mockery of the sport.
If I were a cheetah I'd run from a lion too 😂 Burroughs knows getting too close to a desperate-to-score guduev is a very big mistake

is Bouroughs the greatest American/world wrestler ever? I know his collegiate career wasnt as great as some former greats, but it seems like this guy never loses anymore and just finds a way to win. what do you guys think? Bouroughs > John Smith, Gable?
+chris duncan Not taking anything away from Gable, but he wrestled sooo long ago and I think wrestling has definitley evolved to a whole new level over the years and he won a few things in his time but I don't think he was all that dominant, we just know him as one of these oldest Great American Wrestlers, we don't really know how he would compare with these newers guys. I think Gable was a more impressive Coach than Wrestler by his Stats.

Jordan Burroughs is def up there. He's a 4 time world champ and 5 time national champ in freestyle, 2 time national champ in folkstyle (NCAA Division 1). He also won the Hodge trophy (most outstanding college wrestler) in his senior year. Later that year he won the world championships at his first attempt!

I dont understand why was Geduev put on the shot clock? Jordan was the one more passive! He didn't want to wrestle and slap Geduevs head and kept his distance!! I mean come on!!!
