I noticed when using Greg’s fate with predator instinct you’re doing less damage because you can never get to gleys lv 2 on predator instinct to proc for the extra damage.. it’s dumb
I had my suspicions about this because when getting my devourer kill I couldn’t get a faster time with pred instinct. I just figured it was due to the ramp up time. Blood and iron is probably just superior then. Good to know

Yeah you will need both in order to be able to get 100% uptime. Without the CD from the focus mod you would need to use maximize duration mod (reduces skill power) for 20% more duration as well as having a reactor that has both Duration and CD. My reactor doesn’t need Duration so we get damage vs colossus for a nice damage boost. It also allows me to use the slayer set. Generally for getting 100% uptime CD is better because it’s working with a bigger starting number. You’ll see a bigger difference between 8% cooldown on a 40 second base CD than you would 8% duration on a 5 second base duration

I don’t know the exact numbers but I’d assume just based on how good damage vs colossus is that it’s a noticeable difference. Probably nothing crazy though and considering how difficult it is to get the reactor you want, you’re probably fine
Hi ser. About 5:15 into the video and you had almost no HP, how did you stay alive or get your hp back? Did someone ress you or did you have to go pick up health packs?
I’ll usually get downed in a safe place and have someone res me. The goal is to never be in a position where you don’t have enough health to cast your infinite ammo so play around health orbs and killling mobs if you need it
I struggle with Massacre in pub lobbies where there aren't any heals, seems like the HP cost of keeping up her ammo buff starts to bleed you dry too fast. How do you deal with this when queuing solo?
I’ll save enough health for an infinite ammo ability and wait for adds to spawn. Once they spawn kill all of them and get out of frenzy and pick up the health drops. Worst case scenario get down in a safe place by a teammate and get revived
I have the rolls for legacy tho, im trying to understand the video but instead of the python can I do it for enduring legacy? Maybe I am missing the point to having python. I do have a max python but I have not gotten a reactor with the god rolls. What is the difference?

I saw somewere that predator instinct doesn't work with greg because it's a tactical rifle, even with the option enabled to just stay pressed for the game it's separate clicks are the fastest interval... So i wanted to know the final answer
Ok I gotta question for you I have everything maxed except for battle of stamina and focus on non attribute an still don’t have 100% up time on my 3 I’m even using the annihilation set an my reactor has a better duration up stat then yours you have any idea why?
Maybe I experienced a bug or two but I've been hanging on to a boss part and the meter was almost full and still got kicked off because the boss went invulnerable.
I agree about the lack of creativity with builds. Seems like the only recommended weapon is thunder cage the rest r meaningless. I like thunder cage sure, but really have gotten tired of using it for every character. I’ve gotten so far. Just got ult gley today
Is there a reason you wouldn't use dimension master over something like focus on dimension? At least with dimension Master you get a 50% boost to skill power overall and then an additional 25.5% to dimension
So for the python i was re rolling and the best 2 mods i got on it was gold firearm atk and electric i didnt get fire like you said, so instead i do exactly what you did with fire on your python but for electric? Electric enhancement, electric priority, and sharp precision shot? Does it work fine or you dont know
It works better, electric has a status effect that reduces an enemies defense so it’s currently the strongest element. I got a gold fire roll and went with it because it’s the second best and maybe better for gluttony and frost walker
Hmm i use 2x life module with Shot Focus but only non Attribute Focus. Not the other Focus with cooldown. Doesnt matter of dmg or ? Because i have enough cooldown got. Gold Reactor cooldown / duraton
So I broke down and bought Ultimate Gley. Running the same set up except I’m using Greg’s reversed fate. Everything is maxed. For some reason I can’t kill Devourer before his immunity phase. When I swapped over to Valby I smoked him in under 10 seconds. Wtf did I pay $100 for??? Did Gley get nerfed? I’m super pissed!
I have the exact same build as you, even higher critdmg (yellow) on my gregs. The only difference, im using massive sanguification which you say doesnt really matter. I have no chance to get under 12 seconds kill on devourer with gun build. How can you explain that?
If it’s the exact same build then you’re probably not pre-stacking your mental focus or you’re not getting your health below 50% for the annihilation set to proc its benefits
For anyone reading this. Don't copy this build. It took 5 minutes to deal that much damage. Gley could be doing 150 million in a minute. I copied this build to a T and it's awful. I was able to get 60 million but the real gley build killed the boss before I could get more damage. It's a huge waste of time to invest as much as I did for a crappy build. Greg's is trash weapon. A half-built bunny in a dungeon will out DPS this build against a mission monster.
You’re misinformed. 5 minutes but more than half of it was when the boss was enraged. Also what is “the real gley build”? 150m/minute isn’t possible without multiple debuffs and an Enzo to boost damage. You lost credibility 3 times in 1 message but mostly by saying Greg’s was trash.
There’s 2 builds. 1 is python/massacre and 2 is only Greg’s. I used Greg’s in the gluttony fight so no massacre. I used the massacre in the 1st devourer clip though
It’s not a huge difference. Though it can be a pain to constantly have to keep your stacks up especially when you inevitably run out of HP. I think my devourer times were about 2 seconds slower with mental focus
I saw some utubers saying Iron defence is better than Spear and Shield. Can you post other clip for comparison and explain when to use skill power module or skill power modifier?
When looking at skills it will say (skill power x 1,000%) for example. The higher that percentage is the less useful skill power modifier will be. 1000% + 12% is literally no difference. Skill power however effects the base number then gets multiplied by the 1000%. So it makes a really big difference the higher the percentage.
No need to apologize, for the Greg’s build we don’t utilize any skill power to do damage. It’s pure firearm attack which is why annihilation is better. Also I tested iron defense and it gives ~2k more damage
I frequently do gluttony pugs with a depressingly low success rate. I love when 2-3 of us always get stuck doing the balls and then there’s the people who stand there tunneling the boss for 4 -5 minutes who’s clearly not doing great dmg. Boss does and they post their damage and call us bad. Pretty standard solo experience. I just default to balls because people are clueless

You didnt really explain how to actually use gley on bosses. For example if someone never touched gley. For example, do they lower their health, go frenzy, then ult then use their 3. U never showed any start to a fight just what u do when shooting. Like someone new might not use their 2 to get the full meter to get the 10 bullets. U dont explain how u stay alive. Everything else was great though.

@@donlee0407 80 TIMES ! I read horror stories like this and i realise how good my RNG actually is in this game lol. The most attempts i did so far is 19 (for ultimate bunny's Enhanced Cells), and i was bitching lol. 80 attempts is wild.
That last upgrade costs ~ 2 million gold. Upgrading transcendent mods only reduces the mod slot cost. Since all the other cards are maxed out there is no point in spending the gold since it provides no benefit.
Depending on your build, your trans mod usually doesn’t have to be maxed, i upgrad mine accordingly to my mods, if it doesn’t require maxing, i don’t max it
Get bunny first. It’s not likely they’ll make a better farming character than bunny in a very long time. Also getting bunny will help you get gley faster when you do start farming for her
i like my massacre build norm get 1-1.1 mil each gluttony with 2 gley valby and yujin. but have been looking for a other build that increases dmg enough to fast solo the bosses i normally get right to end before they enrage
I can't find a reactor that's Non Attribute / Dimension with General Rounds so I'm not sure how to farm for the reactor that you have.. They have all except that one when I look up the reward drops in hard mode.
The farming locations and rewards rotate weekly so you gotta wait or get lucky... 2 days there will be a non-attribute general rounds dimension reactor location in echo swamp
All my kill times were consistently faster with sharp precision shot even with mental focus at max stacks. Fire rate is much more important because of how massacre works

It works but it’s less effective. I personally don’t think there’s a big enough difference or enough bosses to keep it un-catalyzed which is why I went with fire because of frost walker and gluttony
For some odd reason im not getting the full kill with this build for devour . I run out of duration???? has about 15% health. Even if I do kill him without running out of dur its 11s??? and does it need rank 3 for more deff debuff? rank of gun wasnt motioned but noticed. Why??????
Rank of gun I believe has an effect on it and the stacking debuff would help a lot if it did. Do you have a damage vs colossus reactor? Are you 1 HP when you’re starting to shoot? These are the 2 most important things you may not be doing

Annihilation buffs your firearm attack when your health is below 50%. For the massacre build this would just be buffing the already low damage of the python. Using massacre adds a a flat skill damage number per shot and that’s the number we try to get as high as possible. This is why slayer > annihilation for massacre builds

"20% power is not worth losing" No it totally is. Especially considering your asking people to use python and maximized builds. 20% on a character that completely ignores power in favor of literally everything else... pretty great trade off actually, especially if it can be a discount build. the fact there is even a purple weapon that works well with this just shows you guys really need to tone down on the "Python and Thundercage METAH"
Gley massacre does not ignore power. You must not be aware of how the ability works because there’s nothing more important than skill power on a massacre Build

Yeah that can definitely help, usually I just down myself in a safe place. Probably not as good as just killing a few mobs but I always min/max my builds for as much damage as possible
I probably won’t make a video on it but if I was leveling gley and using her I’d go with the gun build. It’s easier to get off the ground, takes less mods to work and more versatile. Just focus on getting max CD and Duration first with an HP mod

Second tab is just a tanky option with more HP. Enduring legacy works too although Greg’s is better. Python massacre can be used for all content but with group content you’ll run out of HP and have to play around HP orbs or get downed and revived

I don’t think your python build is optimal at all. You shouldn’t be using sharp precision - it’s bad on this gun. With mental focus you never lose the buff as you don’t reload - also colon special forces = meme
Sharp precision gives you 20% more fire rate which is way better than mental focus. Even at max stacks the firearm attack is still doing significantly less than your skill damage per shot. Colon special forces is just a filler spot to get some movement while in massacre. Crit is almost entirely useless on this build unless you’re playing with an Enzo so there’s just a lack of options for that spot

It is if the boss doesn’t die in the first 3-5 infinite ammos. Then you’ll have to play around the mobs for health drops or just get downed by a teammate for the full HP revive. Either way it’s not too important

Gley can solo Gluttony I’ve seen it. One Gley told everybody to stay in the spawn and she literally killed it by herself.
I may have ran into that same Gley, the person soloed Molten Fortess, I farmed Ultimate Gley after that, it was a sight to behold.
By some miracle i have a god roll reactor for gley and this build will definitely help me alot just got to try my luck for massive sanguification

The 900k per shot he does keep in mind is vs lvl1 npcs in the lab. The damage you’ll get VS end game content is about 200-400k.

yes from how moxsy described it any burst resets some of the abilities and why greg’s is only one even remotely worth using bc the raw damage it does

Iron defense allows you to do more damage with the massacre build than spear and shield.
Greg's looks like it builds the immune meter more than it fills the immunity bar.

You need skill cooldown instead of skill duration on the reactor.

Important to note it stops the meter from increasing, but if you latch on when the enrage is already at max, it won’t stop the phase change
Is there a reason why you didn’t use crit rate/dmg for python? Not criticizing just curious since I’ve never seen a build without those 2 on a weapon.
The pythons crit rate is awful unless you have an enzo so id assume that's why

Massacre has a low skill power modifier so wouldnt it be better to increase the modifier over skill power?

Nah you just gotta get your HP low and make sure you get to 60 stacks of mental focus before the fight starts

I got mine randomly while doing intercept battles on hard mode. U can also randomly get it on combining 4 red modules.

I have the exact same build as you, even higher critdmg (yellow) on my gregs. The only difference, im using massive sanguification which you say doesnt really matter. I have no chance to get under 12 seconds kill on devourer with gun build. How can you explain that?
If it’s the exact same build then you’re probably not pre-stacking your mental focus or you’re not getting your health below 50% for the annihilation set to proc its benefits
How important would you say shot focus is for this build? I just cannot get this mod to drop.

For anyone reading this. Don't copy this build. It took 5 minutes to deal that much damage.
Gley could be doing 150 million in a minute.
I copied this build to a T and it's awful. I was able to get 60 million but the real gley build killed the boss before I could get more damage. It's a huge waste of time to invest as much as I did for a crappy build. Greg's is trash weapon. A half-built bunny in a dungeon will out DPS this build against a mission monster.
You’re misinformed. 5 minutes but more than half of it was when the boss was enraged. Also what is “the real gley build”? 150m/minute isn’t possible without multiple debuffs and an Enzo to boost damage. You lost credibility 3 times in 1 message but mostly by saying Greg’s was trash.

There’s 2 builds. 1 is python/massacre and 2 is only Greg’s. I used Greg’s in the gluttony fight so no massacre. I used the massacre in the 1st devourer clip though

How much better is Sharp Precision Shot over Mental Focus? I had everything dumped into Mental Focus but now I'm second guessing myself
It’s not a huge difference. Though it can be a pain to constantly have to keep your stacks up especially when you inevitably run out of HP. I think my devourer times were about 2 seconds slower with mental focus

The reason sharp precision does more damage is because the attack speed that you get though.
I saw some utubers saying Iron defence is better than Spear and Shield. Can you post other clip for comparison and explain when to use skill power module or skill power modifier?

When looking at skills it will say (skill power x 1,000%) for example. The higher that percentage is the less useful skill power modifier will be. 1000% + 12% is literally no difference. Skill power however effects the base number then gets multiplied by the 1000%. So it makes a really big difference the higher the percentage.

No need to apologize, for the Greg’s build we don’t utilize any skill power to do damage. It’s pure firearm attack which is why annihilation is better. Also I tested iron defense and it gives ~2k more damage

I frequently do gluttony pugs with a depressingly low success rate. I love when 2-3 of us always get stuck doing the balls and then there’s the people who stand there tunneling the boss for 4 -5 minutes who’s clearly not doing great dmg. Boss does and they post their damage and call us bad. Pretty standard solo experience. I just default to balls because people are clueless

You didnt really explain how to actually use gley on bosses. For example if someone never touched gley. For example, do they lower their health, go frenzy, then ult then use their 3. U never showed any start to a fight just what u do when shooting. Like someone new might not use their 2 to get the full meter to get the 10 bullets. U dont explain how u stay alive. Everything else was great though.

You need "Massive Sanguification". It doesnt say, but if you have this, you can generate 3 of your special ressource.

That last upgrade costs ~ 2 million gold. Upgrading transcendent mods only reduces the mod slot cost. Since all the other cards are maxed out there is no point in spending the gold since it provides no benefit.
Depending on your build, your trans mod usually doesn’t have to be maxed, i upgrad mine accordingly to my mods, if it doesn’t require maxing, i don’t max it

Get bunny first. It’s not likely they’ll make a better farming character than bunny in a very long time. Also getting bunny will help you get gley faster when you do start farming for her

I can't find a reactor that's Non Attribute / Dimension with General Rounds so I'm not sure how to farm for the reactor that you have.. They have all except that one when I look up the reward drops in hard mode.
The farming locations and rewards rotate weekly so you gotta wait or get lucky... 2 days there will be a non-attribute general rounds dimension reactor location in echo swamp

All my kill times were consistently faster with sharp precision shot even with mental focus at max stacks. Fire rate is much more important because of how massacre works

It works but it’s less effective. I personally don’t think there’s a big enough difference or enough bosses to keep it un-catalyzed which is why I went with fire because of frost walker and gluttony

For some odd reason im not getting the full kill with this build for devour . I run out of duration???? has about 15% health. Even if I do kill him without running out of dur its 11s??? and does it need rank 3 for more deff debuff? rank of gun wasnt motioned but noticed. Why??????
Rank of gun I believe has an effect on it and the stacking debuff would help a lot if it did. Do you have a damage vs colossus reactor? Are you 1 HP when you’re starting to shoot? These are the 2 most important things you may not be doing

Annihilation buffs your firearm attack when your health is below 50%. For the massacre build this would just be buffing the already low damage of the python. Using massacre adds a a flat skill damage number per shot and that’s the number we try to get as high as possible. This is why slayer > annihilation for massacre builds

Yeah that can definitely help, usually I just down myself in a safe place. Probably not as good as just killing a few mobs but I always min/max my builds for as much damage as possible

Put catalyst on your sub-atk/grappling-hook slot, its will you 15 capacity instead of 10

I probably won’t make a video on it but if I was leveling gley and using her I’d go with the gun build. It’s easier to get off the ground, takes less mods to work and more versatile. Just focus on getting max CD and Duration first with an HP mod

Second tab is just a tanky option with more HP. Enduring legacy works too although Greg’s is better. Python massacre can be used for all content but with group content you’ll run out of HP and have to play around HP orbs or get downed and revived

I don’t think your python build is optimal at all. You shouldn’t be using sharp precision - it’s bad on this gun. With mental focus you never lose the buff as you don’t reload - also colon special forces = meme
Sharp precision gives you 20% more fire rate which is way better than mental focus. Even at max stacks the firearm attack is still doing significantly less than your skill damage per shot. Colon special forces is just a filler spot to get some movement while in massacre. Crit is almost entirely useless on this build unless you’re playing with an Enzo so there’s just a lack of options for that spot

It is if the boss doesn’t die in the first 3-5 infinite ammos. Then you’ll have to play around the mobs for health drops or just get downed by a teammate for the full HP revive. Either way it’s not too important
