Serj and Daron were a lot more energetic at their 2018 shows, and serj sounded a lot better to I know he was sick here but yea not one of their better shows
Of course we can't compare this to their 2002 festivals and so on, but it's kinda impossible to not miss the crazy energy Serj and Daron had on these. Love them anyway.

I disagree with alot of these people being mad about Serj being bored and looking it. The mans getting pretty old guys this is one HELL of a fuckin set to play. Hes not bored HES TIRED. When you see this man changing his voice around smiling having a good time even if he is standing still. He did alot of that in this show. Adding to already finished songs with different voices he smiled alot during plenty of parts in this concert. I honestly am sad I couldnt be there for this. Probably one of his more active and happy looking concerts ive seen in a long time from SOAD. He even did almost ALL of the screaming parts to the songs which if you watch their progression before the big halt he wasnt doing them hardly at all. If you ask me? This band needed this halt in time to get the feel back. They always played live never truly stopped but this halt in time of not being able to play at all really did great things for them. Cheers guys i cant wait till you come even close to my area I WILL BE THERE NO MATTER THE COST.
I agree 100% I attended this show and the energy was amazing! They put on one of the best shows I've seen from anyone. The set list is banger after banger. They were tryly trying to kill the kids in the pit. Plus I was on acid so yeah. Amazing experience!

The poor guy is *54yrs old, has been doing this a long effing time, had major back surgery the start of the year, oh yeah, he also is preforming this whole show with Covid-19. I was there, he did awsome.
I don't think most of us are being haters when we critisize his performance here. We just think very highly of him and his singing talent and that's why we feel let down. Personally I saw them live at the exact same venue in 2018, and Serj was at the top of his game ever since the reunion. It was the best show I've ever been to, and it was an amazing show for SOAD standards too. He can do better than this. Granted he might have had Covid here, maybe (he tested positive 6 days later so we can't be sure). But I do remeber watching this the next day it was uploaded and thinking Serj sounded a little bit sick.

I am about to cry , it is so awesome. Wow, i am so grateful i loved Soad Since i was a child. They all seem to enjoy playing together even if it is not perfect for some of you. It sound perfect to me. The setlist is incredible
They're still on my bucket list to see, when they toured here (Florida) I was too young to even go, hopefully they move some dates to the Southeast coast
That is not screams, it's growls. Big difference. To growl you don't need to put much effort. Especially when it not all the time. But i agree with you - he's really good at that, even without coping the mic like he always did in the past.

Gonna be honest, I would kill to go to a SOAD concert but seeing Serj during this performance kinda bummed me out. You can tell he's exhausted, either that or he just doesn't want to do it. Which is honestly fine with me, I'm fine with watching recordings of their concerts that date back to the early 2000's, It just feels like the magic isn't really there anymore and i respect it. I hope Serj can rest, I honestly hope all of them can rest.

I was there too brotha. When I saw SOAD was gonna be in Vegas, I had to make the trip from Tucson. One of my bucket list wishes has been checked!! They sounded so good. Korn was badass too, I was expecting a little more time from them but oh well, SOAD definitely made up for it.
I was at this concert and remembering the staff relocating an unconscious attendee by their arms and legs 🤣 I think they got F*** up at the mosh pit. Best concert ever , better than the TOOL concert. The camera man just focus on serj if he zommed out , you would see the energy of the entire band and the people. It was intense! Would go again!!!

Now that they rescheduled LAs date you can tell he was getting sick hardly any energy.. I saw Scars on Broadway in 2019 and Darron had a lot more energy than here.. kinda hopping in February they have a bit more energy
well i mean they sound great! john and shavo's energy is on point! daron too, but he really seems to feed off serj, at least in the live setting. And I don't need to keep repeating what is being said about serj, but whatever. soon one day they will be unable to perform, so don't take it for granted! however, it's a bit disappointing for me because serj is (was) my favorite vocalist and the sheer vocal talent in their studio work is just incomparable.

John is an underrated drummer
well i mean they sound great! john and shavo's energy is on point! daron too, but he really seems to feed off serj, at least in the live setting. And I don't need to keep repeating what is being said about serj, but whatever. soon one day they will be unable to perform, so don't take it for granted! however, it's a bit disappointing for me because serj is (was) my favorite vocalist and the sheer vocal talent in their studio work is just incomparable.

@@simonvinyl yeah of course, but I mean Corey Taylor, Jonathan Davis, randy Blythe, joe Duplantier, les claypool, I can name so many that are similar in age but still give so much energy to the live show. Serj looks like he wants to leave.

Let's not forget the fact he probably feels like shit due to the Covid-19 nobody knows he had yet. He did great! All the other 50+ artists that were mentioned do not scream even close to Serj.
