The reason NPCs dont heal you is because Meowscules is a Heavy Specialist. Wgich is the kind that throws bombs. the kind that heal are medical specialist or something like that i forget. there is also scout specialists which ping your enemies and scan the area every now and then. Also supply specialists that drop ammo and heals and mats and stuff like that for you. it was the same last season.
