The video show automated packaging equipment with a collaborative robotic palletizing cell. Cobots are gaining market share in light duty repetitive motion execution in manufacturing, machine tending and distribution centers. While they will not perform at the speed of an industrial robot and their payloads are limited to about 30kg, they are finding their place.
A smaller footprint and lower cost with easier implementation are some of the positives about the Fanuc cobot line.
