No, but that ending is the truth, and it's kind of scary to think about, that if one barrel hadn't drifted in the right direction or was found by the wrong people or wasn't found at all, thousands would be dead and the marines would've won, makes you realize that every little decision you make could turn the tides for thousands, (or even just one person) and could make a world of a difference

If the barrel wasn't found, luffy's adventure (basically the whole one piece anime) would've not happened.
Lets be real though. Even if that barrel wasn't found, it would probably be found by someone else or get drifted to a nearby island.
The problem is if Luffy suddenly wakes up while it's still in the water. There's a chance that someone will save him or he dies drowning in water.
If he was found by a different ship or drifted to an island, the only thing that would change is him not meeting Koby, and that will one day end up with Garp just chilling around instead of having to rescue Koby. Since Koby never met Luffy, Drake won't ally with them until he's sure that they can be trusted.
Finding Zoro will also be delayed. If Luffy didn't manage to rescue Zoro, Nami will be his first mate, and the moss head would either be executed or die of starvation.
Other than that, there shouldn't be other changes.
@@yellowennactually yhats where your wrong. If he didn't go on that boat he wouldn't have ever met Alvida. Alvida is the one who told him about zoro so he would have never gone to that place. Which also means there would be no helmeppo. While he would have gone to buggy I doubt he would have met nami at the same time as him cuz of the delayed timing. Meaning no nami for navigation. Meaning he wouldn't have met ussop at the right time so ussop would dead due to kuro. He wouldn't have met the bounty brothers meaning he would have never heard about baratie so he would have died to krieg - though that depends on if hawkeye would have alr killed krieg or not. Also nami would still be working under the fishmen. So alot would have changed. Tbh luffy himeself wouldn't have survived if he never was never found then albeit while still in the box or later down the line.
