Windshield extensions!! Im sure you saw mine bolted on. Its just a replacement faceshield for tradesmen. But in south baja it got transformed by the sun and shattered when i hand pointed for directions. Now i got a cheaper qualty mexican one that cost double cause it was in baja california . Where everything costs more! I love that it stops all the noise, and i can ride in peace. Get into the zen of motorcycling!
Sorry about your extension experience! So far ours have been working fantastic. I think we just got lucky though. We expected them to break off the first time going off-road but they’re still on. Cheers man, thanks again for watching!
Thanks for watching jmc. Great idea, now you have to go back to Kenya and ride it.. which is a great thing! Let us know if you need any route suggestions. Cheers!
Great idea Clint! We’ve already gone through two packages of the 5 minute JB Weld and one tube of the putty. A zip- tie sponsorship wouldn’t be bad either. Thanks again for watching cheers!
Grazie per aver guardato! Adoriamo i nostri XR600R. Sono le moto perfette per l'Africa. Ti divertirai moltissimo. Fateci sapere se avete bisogno di suggerimenti. Saluti!
Great Videos! & XR600R's?!!! too cool. A note on starting them per my experience. Decompression lever in and throttle wide open. 10-12 kicks. release both. kick slowly until you feel solid compression. then jump on it with full conviction. it never let me down. keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching David! We appreciate the starting tip. Usually they start up 1st or 2nd kick other than after storing them for a while or when they’re really hot. We have some fun riding in Africa coming up, so we hope you follow along. Cheers!
Thanks for watching Jay! Yes, there are Acacia thorns in the entire continent so flats come with it. When the unusual becomes usual, they’re no big deal. The first flat took two hours now we got them down to about 20 minutes. Cheers man!
