That was really awesome Guys! Such a change up from mountains and bush to sand and sea, what a country! Liked how one of the twins had a Vancouver BC Canada t-shirt! Enjoy your weekend Buddy.
Cheers mate glad you enjoyed that one. Was great for us for a change from the high country. Always love doing the sonder trips. The boys representing BC
@@4x4brothers Subscribed mate. Also, you need to use low range on road mode in sand like that in the y62. High range you don't get the snappy wheel speed to launch off the max trax
@@DarrenBoxhall yeah it’s a juggle finding the right setting dunes I’ve definitely found high range works best but in that soft sand to get off the tracks your probably right with low
@@4x4brothers trust me mate. In anything even remotely soft, use low range in manual mode. You would be surprised how much heat you build in the tranny from high range, way better of using low range and revving it more
It’s grouse over there on the beaches and not really to far from Melbourne either. Nice and close if your in the Adelaide area. Well worth a trip to, but that sand can catch you out very quickly hey Cheers for watching mate
Good fun out there in the dunes and sand isn’t it. We have been having a blast on these sonder trips will definitely continue doing more too. Cheers for watching
Glad you enjoyed it. Almost time for you to head off how good. The sand over there is something else, have to jump back on and let us know how you get on and if any good stories from it 👏
100% it can those beaches are insane. Anywhere flat your pretty safe but all the sloped sections that’s where it can go wrong fast on the wrong tide especially
@@4x4brothers Yep exactly and that reddish colored sand can be pretty evil as well. Sometimes staying high just under the dunes is nigh on impossible as well. We did the Canunda end and the Ranger was telling us that a lot of 4wd's are lost down there on the beaches.
@@4x4brothers Yeah very true. I've made that comment before and another content creator or rather another person in their video said how "easy" it all was. We went on a tag a long tour with a local 4wd guy and he basically said the same things. One beach we were advised to stay off but he took us there and we ended up having to work quite hard to get off it due to wind blown sand etc. At the right time, after rain or whatever, it will be very easy but for anyone heading down there I wouldn't take it for granted. We did see some amazing scenery and his commentary from his years of going there with his family etc was excellent imo.
Great drone work fellas. Q.. be good to know for us punters what each car weighs and roughly KW and NM ? Cheer for the footage, magnificent part of the world!!! CB
Thanks mate, how goods the perspective a drone gives. The the Nav is 3t, Gu just over 3t and the y62 3.5t power figures not 100% on we are going to look into the tuning a bit more though and see if it’s worth the investment and could give them then. Really enjoyed this trip, cheers for watching
Absolute ripper episode guys love having a beer and kicking back soaking up the scenery! 👍
Champion mate, cheers to that 🍻
Nice one fellas! Another great vid with the guys from Sonder!
Cheers mate. Absolutely love getting away and doing trips with the guys always such a great trip. Cheers for watching
Fantastic episode guys! Loved it. The drone footage, narration, and scenery awesome. Also loved Dave getting stuck!! 😂😂 Sorry Dave.
Thanks Mish, pretty cool place over there. Dave’o was just providing entertainment for all the participants 😂

Tie some brightly coloured ropes to the Max-tracks to make them easier to find in the sand after they get dug in.
Absolutely mate have some of them at home should have taken them. We lost one for about 15 minutes 😂
